Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe
Upon your arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative who will transfer you to your hotel. Take the rest of the day to relax and prepare for your exciting wildlife adventure in Uganda.
Day 2: Entebbe to Murchison Falls National Park
After breakfast, we will drive towards Murchison Falls National Park, the largest national park in Uganda. Enjoy a scenic drive through the beautiful countryside and arrive at your lodge in time for lunch. In the afternoon, embark on a game drive in search of lions, elephants, giraffes, and other wildlife. End the day with a boat cruise along the Nile River, witnessing the magnificent Murchison Falls.
Day 3: Murchison Falls National Park
Start the day with an early morning game drive to catch the animals at their most active. Explore the park's diverse landscapes, including savannah grasslands, woodlands, and the Nile River. In the afternoon, take a hike to the top of the Murchison Falls, where you can marvel at the powerful rush of the Nile squeezing through a narrow gorge.
Day 4: Murchison Falls to Kibale National Park
After breakfast, depart for Kibale National Park, known for its diverse primate population. Enjoy a scenic drive through rural Uganda, passing by tea plantations and local villages. Arrive at your lodge in the afternoon and relax amidst the beautiful surroundings.
Day 5: Chimpanzee Tracking in Kibale National Park
Today, you will embark on an exciting chimpanzee tracking adventure in Kibale National Park. Join experienced guides as you trek through the forest, listening for the sounds of chimps and observing their behavior in their natural habitat. In the afternoon, visit Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary to spot more wildlife and bird species.
Day 6: Kibale to Queen Elizabeth National Park
After breakfast, depart for Queen Elizabeth National Park, famous for its diverse ecosystems and abundant wildlife. Upon arrival, check in at your lodge and enjoy lunch. In the afternoon, embark on a game drive, where you can spot elephants, buffaloes, lions, and various antelope species.
Day 7: Queen Elizabeth National Park
Start the day with a thrilling morning game drive in the Kasenyi plains, known for their lion prides and other predators. Afterward, take a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, where you can spot hippos, crocodiles, and a wide variety of bird species. In the afternoon, visit the Ishasha sector to search for the famous tree-climbing lions.
Day 8: Queen Elizabeth to Bwindi National Park
After breakfast, drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, home to almost half of the world's remaining mountain gorillas. Enjoy the scenic journey through the beautiful landscapes of southwestern Uganda. Upon arrival, settle into your lodge and relax in preparation for the gorilla trekking experience the next day.
Day 9: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi National Park
Today is the highlight of your Uganda wildlife adventure safari – gorilla trekking! After an early morning briefing, set off into the forest with experienced trackers to locate a gorilla family. Spend an unforgettable hour observing these gentle giants in their natural habitat. After the trek, return to your lodge and reflect on an incredible wildlife experience.
After your 9-day Uganda wildlife adventure safari, you can either choose to depart from Bwindi National Park or be transferred back to Entebbe for your onward journey.
