Day 1: Arrival at Entebbe Airport
Upon arrival at Entebbe Airport, you will be greeted by our representative who will transfer you to your hotel in Entebbe. Take some time to relax and recover from your journey, and if time permits, you can explore the charming town of Entebbe, located on the shores of Lake Victoria.
Day 2: Exploring Kampala
After breakfast, we will embark on a scenic drive to Kampala, the capital city of Uganda. Along the way, you will enjoy beautiful landscapes and get a glimpse of rural life in Uganda. In Kampala, we will visit key attractions such as the Uganda Museum, Kasubi Tombs, and the bustling markets. Overnight stay in Kampala.
Day 3: Kibale National Park
Today, we will drive to Kibale National Park, known for its diverse primate population. Upon arrival, we will embark on an exciting chimp tracking adventure in the lush rainforest. Get up close and personal with our closest relatives and observe their fascinating behaviors. Overnight stay near Kibale National Park.
Day 4: Queen Elizabeth National Park
After breakfast, we will head to Queen Elizabeth National Park, famous for its stunning landscapes and abundant wildlife. Enjoy a game drive through the park, where you can spot elephants, lions, buffaloes, and an array of bird species. In the afternoon, take a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, a haven for hippos, crocodiles, and diverse birdlife. Overnight stay near Queen Elizabeth National Park.
Day 5: Lake Bunyonyi
Today, we will drive to the picturesque Lake Bunyonyi, known as the "Place of Many Little Birds." Enjoy the tranquility of this beautiful lake and the surrounding terraced hills. You can opt to go canoeing, take a nature walk, or simply relax and soak in the stunning scenery. Overnight stay near Lake Bunyonyi.
Day 6-8: Bwindi National Park - Gorilla Trekking
The next three days will be dedicated to the highlight of your trip – gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Embark on an unforgettable adventure through the dense rainforest, trekking to find one of the habituated gorilla families. Spend an hour in their presence, observing their behavior and admiring their majestic presence. These days will be physically demanding but incredibly rewarding. Day 9: Departure
After breakfast, we will drive back to Entebbe Airport for your departure flight. As you leave Uganda, take with you unforgettable memories of the incredible wildlife encounters and the natural beauty of this diverse country.
