Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe
Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be met by our representative who will transfer you to your hotel. Take the rest of the day to relax and recover from your journey.
Day 2: Transfer to Kigali
After breakfast, you will be driven to Kigali, the capital city of Rwanda. Enjoy a city tour, visiting landmarks such as the Kigali Genocide Memorial and the Presidential Palace Museum. In the afternoon, you will continue your journey to Lake Kivu, known for its beautiful landscapes and stunning views.
Day 3: Lake Kivu
Spend the day exploring the shores of Lake Kivu. You can relax on the beach, take a boat ride to the nearby islands, or go kayaking in the pristine waters. Enjoy the tranquility and beauty of this scenic location.
Day 4: Bwindi National Park
Today, you will cross the border into Uganda and head to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. This park is home to almost half of the world's population of mountain gorillas. Upon arrival, check into your lodge and prepare for an incredible gorilla trekking experience the next day.
Day 5: Gorilla Trekking
Embark on a once-in-a-lifetime gorilla trekking adventure in Bwindi National Park. You will hike through the dense forest, guided by experienced trackers, until you locate a gorilla family. Spend an unforgettable hour observing these magnificent creatures in their natural habitat.
Day 6: Queen Elizabeth National Park
After breakfast, depart for Queen Elizabeth National Park. Enjoy a game drive in the afternoon, where you may spot elephants, lions, buffaloes, and various antelope species. In the evening, go on a thrilling boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, known for its abundant wildlife.
Day 7: Jinja
Today, you will drive to Jinja, the adventure capital of Uganda. Visit the source of the Nile, where you can take a boat trip or try out various water activities such as white-water rafting or kayaking. Explore the town and enjoy the lively atmosphere.
Day 8: Departure
After breakfast, drive back to Entebbe for your departure flight. If time permits, you may visit the Entebbe Botanical Gardens or the Uganda Wildlife Education Centre before your flight.
