8-Day Uganda Midrange Safari: Discover the Wild Wonders


Day 1: Arrival in Kampala

Upon your arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be met by our representative who will transfer you to your hotel in Kampala. After checking in, you can spend the rest of the day at leisure, exploring the city or relaxing at the hotel.

Day 2: Kampala City Tour

Start your day with a delicious breakfast at the hotel before embarking on a guided city tour of Kampala. Visit landmarks such as the Uganda Museum, Kasubi Tombs, Namugongo Martyrs Shrine, and the vibrant markets. Immerse yourself in the rich culture and history of Uganda, and don't forget to taste some local cuisine during the tour. In the afternoon, you will return to your hotel for overnight stay.

Day 3: Murchison Falls National Park

After breakfast, depart Kampala and head towards Murchison Falls National Park. Enjoy the scenic drive through the beautiful landscapes of Uganda, arriving at the park in the afternoon. After checking in at your lodge, you can take a boat cruise along the Nile River to the base of the magnificent Murchison Falls. Witness the powerful rush of water as it squeezes through a narrow gorge and feel the mist on your face. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Game Drive in Murchison Falls National Park

Wake up early for an exciting game drive in Murchison Falls National Park. Explore the park's vast savannah plains in search of wildlife such as elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, lions, leopards, and various antelope species. The park is also a birdwatcher's paradise, with over 450 bird species recorded. After the game drive, return to your lodge for lunch and relax in the afternoon. In the evening, you can go for a nature walk or enjoy cultural performances at a nearby village.

Day 5: Kibale National Park

After breakfast, depart Murchison Falls National Park and drive to Kibale National Park. Known as the primate capital of the world, Kibale National Park is home to a large population of chimpanzees and other primates. Upon arrival, check in at your lodge and enjoy a leisurely afternoon. In the evening, you can opt for a guided forest walk to spot chimpanzees or take a nature walk to explore the park's diverse flora and fauna.

Day 6: Bwindi National Park

After breakfast, leave Kibale National Park and proceed to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. This park is famous for its population of endangered mountain gorillas. Upon arrival, check in at your lodge and relax for the rest of the day. You can explore the nearby village or take a guided cultural walk to learn about the traditions and customs of the local communities.

Day 7: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi National Park

Today is the highlight of your safari as you embark on an unforgettable gorilla trekking experience in Bwindi National Park. After a briefing by the park rangers, venture into the dense forest in search of a gorilla family. Once you find them, spend a magical hour observing and photographing these gentle giants in their natural habitat. After the trek, return to your lodge for a well-deserved rest and enjoy the evening at your leisure.

Day 8: Lake Bunyonyi and Departure

After breakfast, bid farewell to Bwindi National Park and drive to Lake Bunyonyi, one of the most beautiful lakes in Uganda. Enjoy the stunning scenery and serene atmosphere of the lake, and if time allows, you can take a boat ride to explore its islands and interact with the local communities. In the afternoon, depart for Kampala, where you will be transferred to Entebbe International Airport for your departure flight, marking the end of your memorable Uganda midrange safari.
