Day 1: Arrival in Arusha
Welcome to Tanzania! Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be greeted by our representative who will transfer you to your hotel in Arusha. Take some time to relax and acclimate to the local surroundings before embarking on your exciting safari adventure.
Day 2: Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, we will depart for Tarangire National Park. Known for its large elephant population, Tarangire is also home to a variety of other wildlife including giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and various bird species. Enjoy a game drive through the park and immerse yourself in the stunning landscapes and diverse wildlife. In the afternoon, we will head to our accommodation for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3: Serengeti National Park
Today, we will head towards the world-famous Serengeti National Park. Enjoy a game drive en route to the park, and be on the lookout for the "Big Five" - lions, elephants, buffalo, leopards, and rhinos. The Serengeti is renowned for its annual wildebeest migration, where millions of these animals move across the plains in search of fresh grazing. Witness this incredible natural phenomenon and spend the night in a comfortable lodge or campsite within the park.
Day 4: Ngorongoro Highlands
After breakfast, we will depart for the Ngorongoro Highlands. The drive offers breathtaking views of the stunning landscapes and traditional Maasai villages. Upon arrival, embark on a guided cultural tour to learn about the local Maasai tribe's traditions and way of life. Spend the night in a lodge or campsite in the Ngorongoro Highlands.
Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater
Today, we will descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, often referred to as the "Eighth Wonder of the World." This massive volcanic caldera is home to a diverse range of wildlife, including lions, elephants, zebras, and flamingos. Enjoy a full day game drive within the crater, followed by a picnic lunch. In the afternoon, we will ascend back to the Ngorongoro Highlands for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 6: Lake Eyasi
After breakfast, we will head to Lake Eyasi, located in the Great Rift Valley. This remote and less-visited location offers a unique cultural experience. Interact with the Hadzabe Bushmen, one of the last hunter-gatherer tribes in Africa, and learn about their ancient traditions and hunting techniques. In the afternoon, take a nature walk around the lake and enjoy the serene surroundings. Dinner and overnight stay will be provided at a lodge or campsite near Lake Eyasi.
Day 7: Lake Manyara National Park
Today, we will visit Lake Manyara National Park, known for its diverse birdlife and tree-climbing lions. Enjoy a game drive through the park and spot various wildlife such as elephants, giraffes, hippos, and baboons. The park's unique location at the base of the Great Rift Valley escarpment provides stunning views. After the game drive, we will head back to Arusha for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 8: Departure
It's time to say goodbye to Tanzania. After breakfast, our representative will transfer you to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your departure flight. Take with you unforgettable memories of the wildlife and cultural experiences you encountered during your 8-day safari adventure in Tanzania.
