Day 1: Arrival in Arusha
Welcome to Arusha, the gateway to Tanzania's Northern Circuit! Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be met by our representative who will transfer you to your hotel. Take the rest of the day to relax and prepare for your exciting safari adventure.
Day 2: Arusha - Lake Manyara National Park
After breakfast, depart for Lake Manyara National Park, known for its diverse wildlife and beautiful landscapes. Upon arrival, enjoy a game drive through the park, where you may spot elephants, giraffes, hippos, and an abundance of bird species. In the evening, check-in at your semi-luxury lodge and unwind.
Day 3: Lake Manyara - Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, depart for the world-famous Serengeti National Park. Enjoy a game drive en route, as you make your way towards the heart of the park. Arrive at your semi-luxury camp in the central Serengeti and settle in for the night.
Day 4: Central Serengeti
Embark on a full day of game drives in the central Serengeti, which is renowned for its abundant wildlife and stunning landscapes. Witness the great wildebeest migration (seasonal) and keep an eye out for lions, cheetahs, zebras, and other iconic African animals. Return to your camp for a delicious dinner and a peaceful night's rest.
Day 5: Serengeti - Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast, depart for the Ngorongoro Crater, often referred to as the "Eighth Wonder of the World." Descend into the crater for a thrilling game drive, where you have the opportunity to see the Big Five (lion, elephant, rhino, buffalo, and leopard) in one of the most densely populated wildlife areas in Africa. Later in the day, ascend to the rim and check-in at your semi-luxury lodge for overnight.
Day 6: Ngorongoro - Tarangire National Park
Today, head to Tarangire National Park, known for its large herds of elephants and baobab trees. Enjoy a game drive in this picturesque park and discover its diverse wildlife, including lions, giraffes, zebras, and more. In the evening, settle into your semi-luxury tented camp and unwind amidst the sounds of the African bush.
Day 7: Tarangire National Park
Embark on another full day of game drives in Tarangire National Park. Explore different areas of the park and observe the unique wildlife and bird species that call this park home. After an eventful day, return to your camp for a final night under the starry African sky.
Day 8: Tarangire - Arusha
After breakfast, bid farewell to the wilderness and drive back to Arusha. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to the airport or your hotel, marking the end of your unforgettable 8-day semi-luxury safari in Northern Tanzania.
