Ultimate 8-Day Safari: Tarangire, Serengeti & Ngorongoro Crater
Day 1: Arrival in Arusha
Upon your arrival at Arusha, you will be greeted by our representative and transferred to your accommodation. Take some time to rest and acclimate to the local surroundings.
Day 2: Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park. Known for its large elephant herds and baobab trees, this park offers a unique safari experience. Enjoy game drives and spot various wildlife species, including lions, giraffes, and zebras. In the evening, head to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3: Western Serengeti
Today, you will travel to the Western Serengeti, crossing the Grumeti River. The Western Serengeti is famous for its annual wildebeest migration, where millions of animals move in search of fresh grazing pastures. Witness this incredible spectacle and explore the diverse ecosystem. Overnight stay at a lodge in the Western Serengeti.
Day 4-5: Serengeti National Park
Embark on full-day game drives in the Serengeti National Park. The park is renowned for its vast savannah plains, home to an abundance of wildlife, including the Big Five (lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino). Explore different areas of the park, spotting cheetahs, hyenas, and various bird species. Spend the nights at a lodge in the Serengeti.
Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater
Today, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Africa's most iconic natural wonders. This crater is a haven for diverse wildlife, offering excellent opportunities to spot animals such as black rhinos, zebras, and hippos. Enjoy a picnic lunch amidst the stunning landscape before ascending and heading to your lodge for overnight stay.
Day 7: Materuni Waterfall
After breakfast, visit Materuni, a charming village nestled on the slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro. Take a guided hike to the Materuni Waterfall, surrounded by lush greenery and picturesque scenery. Enjoy a refreshing swim in the natural pools and learn about the local Chagga culture. Return to your lodge for dinner and relaxation.
Day 8: Departure
After breakfast, check out from your lodge and transfer back to Arusha. Depending on your departure time, you may have the opportunity to explore the city and shop for souvenirs before being transferred to the airport for your onward journey.
