Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe

Upon arrival at Entebbe Airport, you will be greeted by our representative who will transfer you to your hotel in Entebbe. Take some time to relax and recover from your journey. Depending on your arrival time, you can explore the beautiful Botanical Gardens or take a leisurely walk along the shores of Lake Victoria.

Day 2: Entebbe to Murchison Falls National Park

After breakfast, we will drive to Murchison Falls National Park, located in northwestern Uganda. The journey will take approximately 6-7 hours, but you will have the opportunity to enjoy the scenic beauty of the Ugandan countryside along the way. Upon arrival, check-in at your lodge and spend the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 3: Game Drive and Boat Safari in Murchison Falls National Park

Wake up early for a thrilling morning game drive in the park. Murchison Falls National Park is home to the famous Big 5 – lions, elephants, buffalos, leopards, and rhinos – so keep your eyes peeled for these magnificent creatures. After the game drive, return to the lodge for lunch and some relaxation. In the afternoon, embark on a boat safari along the Victoria Nile to the base of the Murchison Falls. This boat trip offers a great opportunity to spot hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of bird species. Don't forget to have your camera ready to capture the breathtaking views of the falls.

Day 4: Murchison Falls to Kibale National Park

After breakfast, we will drive to Kibale National Park, known for its population of chimpanzees and other primates. The journey will take approximately 7-8 hours, but you will have the chance to enjoy the scenic landscapes of western Uganda. Upon arrival, check-in at your lodge and relax for the rest of the day.

Day 5: Chimpanzee Tracking in Kibale National Park

Today, you will have an unforgettable experience of tracking chimpanzees in their natural habitat. Set off early in the morning with an experienced guide who will lead you through the forest, pointing out other primate species and sharing interesting facts about the flora and fauna. Once you find the chimpanzees, spend a magical hour observing and photographing them. In the afternoon, you can take a nature walk in the Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary, renowned for its diverse birdlife and swamp-dwelling animals.

Day 6: Kibale National Park to Queen Elizabeth National Park (Ishasha)

After breakfast, we will drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park, but first, we will make a stop at the Ishasha sector. Ishasha is famous for its tree-climbing lions, so keep your eyes open for these remarkable creatures. Enjoy a game drive in Ishasha before continuing to your lodge in Queen Elizabeth National Park for check-in and relaxation.

Day 7: Game Drive and Boat Safari in Queen Elizabeth National Park

Start your day with an early morning game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park, known for its diverse wildlife including elephants, buffalos, antelopes, and various bird species. After the game drive, return to the lodge for breakfast. In the afternoon, embark on a boat safari along the Kazinga Channel, which connects Lake George and Lake Edward. This boat trip offers an incredible opportunity to see hippos, crocodiles, and numerous waterbirds up close. Enjoy the stunning scenery and the wildlife that congregates along the shores.

Day 8: Queen Elizabeth National Park to Lake Bunyonyi

After breakfast, we will drive to Lake Bunyonyi, one of the most beautiful lakes in Uganda. The journey will take approximately 4-5 hours, but the scenic drive through the rolling hills and terraced landscapes is worth it. Upon arrival, check-in at your lodge and spend the rest of the day at leisure. You can opt for a canoe ride on the lake, visit the local community, or simply relax and enjoy the tranquil surroundings. After this incredible 8-day adventure, we will transfer you back to Entebbe Airport for your departure flight.
