Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe
Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be greeted by our representative who will transfer you to your hotel. Take the rest of the day to relax and recover from your journey.
Day 2: Ngamba Island Chimpanzee Sanctuary
After breakfast, you will be transferred to the pier for a boat ride to Ngamba Island Chimpanzee Sanctuary. Spend the day observing and interacting with the rescued chimpanzees in their natural habitat. In the evening, return to your hotel in Entebbe for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3: Transfer to Kibale National Park
After breakfast, drive to Kibale National Park, known as the primate capital of the world. Upon arrival, check into your lodge and enjoy a relaxing afternoon. In the evening, you may take a nature walk around the lodge to spot some of the resident primates and bird species.
Day 4: Chimpanzee Trekking in Kibale National Park
Embark on an exciting chimpanzee trekking experience in Kibale National Park. Accompanied by experienced guides, explore the forest in search of these playful creatures. Observe their behavior, learn about their conservation, and capture memorable photographs. After the trek, return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 5: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
After breakfast, depart for Queen Elizabeth National Park, known for its diverse wildlife and stunning landscapes. Upon arrival, check into your lodge and have lunch. In the afternoon, enjoy a game drive through the park, spotting various animals such as elephants, lions, buffaloes, and more. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 6: Kyambura Gorge Chimpanzee Trekking
Today, embark on a thrilling chimpanzee trekking adventure in Kyambura Gorge. This gorge is home to a habituated community of chimpanzees, and trekking through the dense forest provides a unique experience. After the trek, return to your lodge for relaxation and overnight stay.
Day 7: Game Drive and Boat Safari in Queen Elizabeth National Park
Start the day with an early morning game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park. Witness the beauty of the park as you spot various wildlife, including lions, elephants, giraffes, and more. In the afternoon, enjoy a boat safari along the Kazinga Channel, where you can observe hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of bird species. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 8: Departure
After breakfast, check out of your lodge and transfer back to Entebbe International Airport for your departure flight. Bid farewell to Uganda with unforgettable memories of your gorilla and chimpanzee trekking adventure.
