Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe
Upon your arrival at Entebbe International Airport, our representative will meet and greet you. You will be transferred to your hotel in Entebbe, where you can relax and prepare for your adventure ahead. Take some time to explore the vibrant town or enjoy the beautiful beaches along Lake Victoria.
Day 2: Entebbe to Murchison Falls National Park
After breakfast, we will drive to Murchison Falls National Park, located in northwestern Uganda. The journey will take you through the scenic landscapes of the Albertine Rift Valley. Upon arrival, check into your lodge and enjoy a delicious lunch. In the afternoon, embark on a game drive to spot the Big 5 - lions, elephants, buffaloes, leopards, and rhinos.
Day 3: Murchison Falls National Park
Start the day with an early morning game drive to catch the animals at their most active. Explore the vast plains and encounter various wildlife species, including giraffes, antelopes, hyenas, and more. In the afternoon, take a boat safari along the Nile River to the base of Murchison Falls. Witness the powerful waterfall and spot hippos, crocodiles, and numerous bird species.
Day 4: Murchison Falls to Kibale National Park
After breakfast, depart for Kibale National Park, known for its diverse primate population. Enjoy the scenic drive through the countryside and arrive at your lodge in time for lunch. In the afternoon, go for a guided nature walk in the forest to encounter chimpanzees and other primates, such as red colobus monkeys and vervet monkeys.
Day 5: Kibale National Park to Queen Elizabeth National Park
After breakfast, drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park, famous for its incredible wildlife and diverse ecosystems. Upon arrival, check in to your lodge and have lunch. In the afternoon, embark on a game drive in the park to spot elephants, lions, buffaloes, and other wildlife. Enjoy the breathtaking scenery of the park, which includes crater lakes and the Rwenzori Mountains.
Day 6: Queen Elizabeth National Park
Start the day with a sunrise game drive to witness the park come alive. Search for elusive leopards and other predators, as well as unique bird species. In the afternoon, take a boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel, which connects Lake Edward and Lake George. Marvel at the abundant hippos, crocodiles, and water birds that inhabit the channel.
Day 7: Queen Elizabeth to Bwindi National Park
After breakfast, depart for Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, home to the endangered mountain gorillas. The journey will take you through scenic landscapes, passing by local villages and terraced hillsides. Upon arrival, check in to your lodge and relax. In the afternoon, take a nature walk around the park's edge to experience the unique biodiversity.
Day 8: Gorilla Trekking and Lake Bunyonyi
Today is the highlight of your trip - gorilla trekking! After an early breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a briefing before embarking on your thrilling gorilla trekking adventure. Trek through the dense forest in search of a gorilla family and spend a magical hour in their presence. After the trek, drive to Lake Bunyonyi, known as the "Place of Little Birds." Relax and unwind by the lake, enjoying the stunning views and optional activities such as canoeing or hiking.
After your Lake Bunyonyi experience, you will be driven back to Entebbe for your departure flight or to your preferred accommodation in Entebbe.
