Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe

Upon your arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be greeted by our tour guide who will transfer you to your hotel. Take this day to relax and acclimatize to the new environment.

Day 2: Mabamba Swamp

After an early breakfast, we will head to Mabamba Swamp, located on the shores of Lake Victoria. This swamp is famous for its rich birdlife, including the elusive Shoebill Stork. We will spend the day birding and exploring the swamp, guided by experienced local birding guides.

Day 3-4: Queen Elizabeth National Park

In the morning, we will drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park, a diverse ecosystem teeming with birdlife. Our experienced guides will take you on game drives and birding walks in search of various bird species, including the African Fish Eagle, Grey Crowned Crane, and the highly sought-after African Skimmer. We will spend two days exploring the park and enjoying its remarkable birding opportunities.

Day 5-6: Bwindi National Park

After breakfast, we will drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, home to almost half of the world's population of endangered mountain gorillas. While the focus of this park is primarily on gorilla trekking, it also offers excellent birding opportunities. We will spend two days exploring the forest trails, keeping an eye out for rare bird species such as the African Green Broadbill, African Blue Flycatcher, and Albertine Rift Endemics.

Day 7: Return to Entebbe

After breakfast, we will drive back to Entebbe, with a stop at the Equator for a photo opportunity. Upon arrival in Entebbe, you will have some free time to explore the town, visit the local markets, or relax by the shores of Lake Victoria.

Day 8: Departure

After breakfast, our tour guide will transfer you to Entebbe International Airport for your departure flight, marking the end of your birding safari adventure in Uganda.
