8-Day African Big Five with Chimpanzee Trekking Safari
Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe
Upon your arrival at Entebbe Airport, you will be met by our representative who will transfer you to your hotel in Entebbe. Take some time to relax and acclimatize to your new surroundings.
Day 2: Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary
In the morning, drive to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, the only place in Uganda where you can see rhinos in the wild. Enjoy a guided nature walk to track the rhinos and learn about their conservation efforts. Afterward, continue to Murchison Falls National Park.
Day 3: Murchison Falls National Park
Embark on an early morning game drive in Murchison Falls National Park, known for its diverse wildlife including elephants, giraffes, lions, and more. In the afternoon, take a boat safari on the Nile River to the base of the magnificent Murchison Falls.
Day 4: Kibale National Park
Drive to Kibale National Park, home to a large population of chimpanzees. Embark on an exciting chimpanzee trekking experience in the lush forest, observing these primates in their natural habitat. In the evening, relax at your lodge and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.
Day 5: Queen Elizabeth National Park
Head to Queen Elizabeth National Park, famous for its diverse ecosystems and abundant wildlife. Enjoy a game drive in search of the 'big five' (elephants, lions, leopards, buffalos, and rhinos) as well as other species such as hippos, crocodiles, and various bird species.
Day 6: Queen Elizabeth National Park
Embark on an early morning game drive and witness the beautiful sunrise over the savannah. In the afternoon, take a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, renowned for its high concentration of hippos, crocodiles, and birdlife.
Day 7: Entebbe
Return to Entebbe and enjoy a leisurely day exploring the city. Visit the Entebbe Botanical Gardens, take a walk along the shores of Lake Victoria, or indulge in some shopping for souvenirs.
Day 8: Departure
Transfer to Entebbe Airport for your departure flight, marking the end of your African Big Five with Chimpanzee Trekking Safari in Uganda.
