Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe
Upon your arrival at Entebbe Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative who will transfer you to your hotel in Entebbe. Take some time to rest and acclimatize to the new surroundings. If time permits, you can explore the town of Entebbe, visit the botanical gardens, or enjoy a sunset boat cruise on Lake Victoria.
Day 2: Transfer to Bwindi National Park
After breakfast, you will embark on a scenic drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. This journey will take you through beautiful landscapes, traditional villages, and lush green countryside. Arrive in Bwindi in the evening and check into your lodge. Rest and prepare for the thrilling gorilla tracking experience the next day.
Day 3: Gorilla Tracking in Bwindi National Park
Today is the highlight of your safari as you go gorilla tracking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. After an early morning briefing by the park rangers, venture into the forest to track one of the habituated gorilla families. Spend an unforgettable hour observing these magnificent creatures in their natural habitat. After the trek, return to your lodge and relax.
Day 4: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
After breakfast, depart Bwindi National Park and drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park. This park is known for its diverse wildlife, including elephants, lions, buffaloes, and various antelope species. Arrive in the afternoon and enjoy a game drive in the park, spotting the abundant wildlife. Check into your lodge and spend the evening at leisure.
Day 5: Game Drive and Boat Safari in Queen Elizabeth National Park
Start the day with an early morning game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park. This is the best time to spot predators on the hunt and other wildlife species. After the game drive, return to the lodge for breakfast and some relaxation. In the afternoon, embark on a thrilling boat safari along the Kazinga Channel. Marvel at the hippos, crocodiles, and numerous bird species that inhabit the channel.
Day 6: Chimpanzee Tracking in Kibale National Park
Today, you will visit Kibale National Park for an exciting chimpanzee tracking experience. After a brief orientation by the park rangers, venture into the forest to track the habituated chimpanzee groups. Along the way, you may encounter other primates and various bird species. Spend an hour with the chimpanzees, observing their behavior and interactions. Afterward, return to your lodge and relax.
Day 7: Return to Entebbe and Departure
After breakfast, bid farewell to Queen Elizabeth National Park and embark on the journey back to Entebbe. Arrive in the afternoon and depending on your departure time, you may have the opportunity to visit some local craft markets for souvenirs. Our representative will transfer you to Entebbe Airport for your onward flight, marking the end of your Uganda wildlife and gorilla tracking safari.
