Day 1: Arrival at Entebbe Airport
Upon your arrival at Entebbe Airport, our professional guide will meet you and transfer you to your hotel in Entebbe. You will have the rest of the day to relax and recover from your journey.
Day 2: Entebbe to Kibale National Park
After breakfast, we will depart for Kibale National Park, known as the primate capital of the world. The journey will take approximately 6 hours, but you will enjoy beautiful scenery along the way. Upon arrival, check into your lodge and have some time to relax. In the evening, you can take a nature walk around the lodge to spot some primates and other wildlife.
Day 3: Chimpanzee Trekking in Kibale National Park
Today is the highlight of your trip as you go chimpanzee trekking in Kibale National Park. After an early breakfast, you will head to the park headquarters for a briefing before starting your trek. With the help of experienced guides, you will track the habituated chimpanzee families and have a chance to observe them in their natural habitat. After the trek, return to your lodge for a well-deserved rest.
Day 4: Queen Elizabeth National Park
After breakfast, we will drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park, famous for its diverse wildlife and stunning landscapes. Along the way, you may spot some animals, such as elephants, buffaloes, and antelopes. Upon arrival, check into your lodge and have some time to relax. In the evening, enjoy a game drive to see more wildlife.
Day 5: Game Drive and Boat Safari in Queen Elizabeth National Park
Wake up early for a morning game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park. This is the perfect time to spot predators and other wildlife as they are most active during the early hours. After the game drive, return to your lodge for breakfast. In the afternoon, embark on a boat safari along the Kazinga Channel, where you can see hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of bird species.
Day 6: Bwindi National Park
After breakfast, we will drive to Bwindi National Park, home to the endangered mountain gorillas. The journey will take approximately 4-5 hours, but you will enjoy breathtaking views of the countryside. Upon arrival, check into your lodge and have some time to relax. In the evening, you can take a nature walk around the lodge to spot some wildlife.
Day 7: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi National Park
Today is the most anticipated day of your trip as you go gorilla trekking in Bwindi National Park. After an early breakfast, you will head to the park headquarters for a briefing before starting your trek. With the help of experienced guides, you will track one of the habituated gorilla families and have a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to observe them up close. After the trek, return to your lodge for a well-deserved rest.
Day 8: Lake Bunyonyi
After breakfast, we will drive to Lake Bunyonyi, one of the most beautiful lakes in Uganda. The journey will take approximately 3-4 hours, and you will enjoy stunning views of the rolling hills and terraced landscapes. Upon arrival, check into your lodge and have some time to relax. In the afternoon, you can take a boat ride on the lake or explore the surrounding villages.
After your Lake Bunyonyi experience, you can either choose to extend your trip or we will transfer you back to Entebbe Airport for your departure flight.
