Day 1: Arrival in Kampala

Upon your arrival at Entebbe International Airport, our guide will meet you and transfer you to your hotel in Kampala. You will have the rest of the day to relax, explore the city, and prepare for an exciting safari adventure.

Day 2: Kampala to Lake Mburo National Park

After an early breakfast, you will depart from Kampala and head towards Lake Mburo National Park. The journey will take approximately 4-5 hours, and you will have several stops along the way to stretch and enjoy the scenic views.

Upon arrival at the park, you will check-in at your accommodation and have a delicious lunch. In the afternoon, you will go for a game drive where you will have the opportunity to spot various wildlife species such as zebras, impalas, buffaloes, and giraffes. After the game drive, you will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Lake Mburo National Park

Today, you will have a full day to explore Lake Mburo National Park. After breakfast, you will embark on a guided nature walk where you will have a chance to see different bird species, antelopes, and other small mammals. You will also visit the salt lick area, where animals gather to lick the natural salt deposits.

In the afternoon, you can choose to go for a boat safari on Lake Mburo, where you will have an opportunity to see hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of water birds. Alternatively, you can opt for a horseback safari or a cycling safari within the park. In the evening, you will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Lake Mburo National Park to Kampala

After breakfast, you will depart from Lake Mburo National Park and drive back to Kampala. Along the way, you will have a chance to stop at the Equator for some photo opportunities and to experience the unique feeling of standing in both the Northern and Southern Hemispheres simultaneously.

Upon arrival in Kampala, you will check-in at your hotel and have the remainder of the day at leisure. You can explore the city, visit local markets, or simply relax and prepare for the next leg of your safari.

Day 5: Kampala to Entebbe

Today, you will leave Kampala and drive to Entebbe, the gateway to Uganda. Upon arrival, you will visit the Entebbe Botanical Gardens, a haven for nature lovers and bird watchers. You can take a leisurely stroll through the gardens, spotting various bird species and enjoying the lush greenery.

In the afternoon, you will visit the Uganda Wildlife Education Centre, which houses a variety of animals, including lions, chimpanzees, and rhinos. You will have the opportunity to learn about conservation efforts in Uganda and get up close to these incredible animals. Afterward, you will check-in at your hotel in Entebbe for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6: Ngamba Island Chimpanzee Sanctuary

Today, you will embark on a boat trip to Ngamba Island Chimpanzee Sanctuary, located on Lake Victoria. The sanctuary is home to over 40 orphaned and rescued chimpanzees, and you will have a chance to observe these fascinating primates up close during feeding time.

You can also participate in various activities at the sanctuary, such as preparing food for the chimpanzees or taking a guided forest walk. In the afternoon, you will return to Entebbe and have the rest of the day at leisure to relax or explore the town.

Day 7: Departure

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Entebbe International Airport for your departure flight. If time allows, you can visit the local craft markets to buy souvenirs before bidding farewell to Uganda.
