Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe
Upon your arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative who will assist you with the transfer to your hotel. Take some time to relax and prepare for the exciting days ahead.
Day 2: Entebbe to Lake Mburo National Park
In the morning, after breakfast, we will depart for Lake Mburo National Park. The scenic drive takes you through picturesque landscapes and rural villages. Upon arrival, check into your lodge and enjoy a delicious lunch. In the afternoon, embark on a thrilling game drive through the park, where you can spot various savanna animals such as zebras, impalas, buffaloes, and giraffes. The park is also home to over 300 bird species, making it a paradise for bird lovers. After the game drive, return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3: Boat Safari on Lake Mburo
Start your day with an early morning breakfast and head out for a boat safari on Lake Mburo. This scenic boat ride offers a unique opportunity to get up close to hippos, crocodiles, and various water bird species. After the boat safari, return to the lodge for lunch and some relaxation. In the afternoon, take a guided nature walk or a horseback riding safari to explore the park's diverse ecosystems. Enjoy dinner and overnight stay at your lodge.
Day 4: Lake Mburo National Park to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
After breakfast, depart Lake Mburo National Park and drive towards Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. The journey takes you through stunning landscapes and local communities. Arrive at Bwindi in the late afternoon and check into your lodge. Take the rest of the day to relax and prepare for the highlight of your safari – the gorilla trekking experience. Enjoy dinner and overnight stay at your lodge.
Day 5: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi
Today is the day you have been waiting for – gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest! After an early morning breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a briefing about the trekking rules and guidelines. With an experienced guide, venture into the forest to search for the incredible mountain gorillas. The trek can be challenging but the reward of observing these magnificent creatures in their natural habitat is truly unforgettable. Spend an hour with the gorillas, observing their behavior and taking photographs. After the trek, return to your lodge for some well-deserved rest and relaxation. Dinner and overnight stay at your lodge.
Day 6: Bwindi to Entebbe
After breakfast, bid farewell to Bwindi and begin your journey back to Entebbe. Enjoy the scenic drive and make stops along the way to stretch your legs and take in the beautiful views. Arrive in Entebbe in the late afternoon and check into your hotel. Spend the rest of the day at leisure, exploring the town or relaxing by the shores of Lake Victoria. Dinner and overnight stay at your hotel.
Day 7: Departure from Entebbe
