7-Day Uganda Safari: Exploring Primates and Wildlife

Day 1: Arrival at Entebbe Airport

Upon your arrival at Entebbe Airport, our representative will meet you and transfer you to your hotel. Take the time to relax and prepare for the exciting adventure that lies ahead.

Day 2: Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park

After breakfast, we will begin our journey to Lake Mburo National Park. Along the way, enjoy the scenic views and stop for lunch in Mbarara town. Upon arrival at the park, embark on an afternoon game drive where you will have the opportunity to spot various wildlife including zebras, impalas, buffalos, and more.

Day 3: Game Drive and Boat Safari

Start the day with an early morning game drive to catch sight of the park's early risers. Lake Mburo National Park is home to over 350 bird species, so keep an eye out for different bird species as well. In the afternoon, enjoy a relaxing boat safari on Lake Mburo, where you can spot hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of birdlife.

Day 4: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

After breakfast, we will depart for Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, home to almost half of the world's population of endangered mountain gorillas. The journey will take you through beautiful landscapes and local villages. Arrive in Bwindi in the evening and settle into your accommodation.

Day 5: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi

Today is the highlight of your trip - gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest! After an early breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a briefing before embarking on your gorilla trek. Trekking through the dense forest can be challenging, but the reward of encountering these magnificent creatures in their natural habitat is truly unforgettable. Spend an hour observing and photographing the gorillas before trekking back to the starting point.

Day 6: Nature Walk and Cultural Experience

Explore the forest on a guided nature walk, where you can learn about the different plant and animal species that call Bwindi home. In the afternoon, immerse yourself in the local culture with a visit to a nearby community. Interact with the locals, learn about their traditions, and enjoy traditional performances.

Day 7: Departure

After breakfast, it's time to bid farewell to Bwindi and begin your journey back to Entebbe Airport. Enjoy the scenic drive and make a stop for lunch along the way. Our representative will drop you off at the airport, marking the end of your memorable primate and wildlife safari in Uganda.
