7-Day Northern Tanzania Wildlife & Cultural Safari
Day 1: Arusha Arrival
Upon your arrival at Arusha, you will be greeted by our representative who will transfer you to your accommodation. Take the rest of the day to relax and prepare for an exciting adventure in Northern Tanzania.
Day 2: Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, we will drive to Tarangire National Park. Known for its large elephant herds and baobab trees, Tarangire offers incredible wildlife sightings. Enjoy a full day game drive and marvel at the diverse wildlife, including lions, zebras, giraffes, and more. In the evening, we will head to our lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3: Serengeti National Park
Today, we will journey to the world-renowned Serengeti National Park. Embark on a game drive en route and witness the stunning landscapes and abundant wildlife. Serengeti is famous for the annual wildebeest migration, where millions of animals traverse the plains in search of fresh grazing. Spend the night at a lodge or campsite in Serengeti.
Day 4: Lake Eyasi Cultural Experience
Leave the Serengeti behind and head to Lake Eyasi, home to the indigenous Hadzabe and Datoga tribes. Immerse yourself in their traditional way of life, learn hunting techniques, gather food, and participate in cultural activities. This unique cultural experience will provide insights into their ancient traditions and beliefs. Overnight stay at a lodge near Lake Eyasi.
Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater
Today, we will descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This massive volcanic caldera is home to a wide variety of wildlife, including the Big Five. Enjoy a full day game drive in the crater, where you can spot lions, elephants, rhinos, buffalos, and numerous bird species. After an unforgettable day, we will head to our accommodation for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 6: Lake Manyara National Park
After breakfast, we will drive to Lake Manyara National Park. Known for its lush greenery and diverse ecosystems, this park offers a unique wildlife experience. Explore the park on a game drive and keep an eye out for tree-climbing lions, elephants, baboons, and an array of bird species. In the evening, we will return to our lodge for dinner and relaxation.
Day 7: Departure
On the final day of our safari, we will drive back to Arusha, where you can catch your onward flight or extend your stay to explore more of Tanzania's wonders.
