Day 1: Arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport - Arusha
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport, you will be greeted by our representative who will transfer you to your hotel in Arusha. Take some time to relax and acclimatize to the local environment. In the evening, you can explore the vibrant city of Arusha, known as the gateway to Tanzania's Northern Safari Circuit.
Day 2: Arusha - Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, depart from Arusha and drive to Tarangire National Park, known for its large herds of elephants and baobab trees. Enjoy a game drive through the park, spotting various wildlife species such as lions, zebras, giraffes, and more. In the afternoon, settle into your lodge or campsite and relax amidst the beautiful surroundings of the park.
Day 3: Tarangire National Park - Lake Manyara National Park
Leave Tarangire National Park and head towards Lake Manyara National Park. This small but diverse park is famous for its tree-climbing lions and vast birdlife. Embark on a game drive and explore the park's diverse habitats, including the alkaline lake, dense forests, and open grasslands. In the evening, you can relax at your accommodation near the park.
Day 4: Lake Manyara National Park - Serengeti National Park (Central Serengeti)
After breakfast, drive to the world-renowned Serengeti National Park. En route, enjoy a game drive through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where you may spot wildlife such as elephants, buffalos, and various antelope species. Continue to the Central Serengeti, known for its vast savannahs and abundant wildlife. Settle into your lodge or campsite and enjoy dinner under the starry African sky.
Day 5: Central Serengeti - Full-day Game Drives
Spend the entire day exploring the vast plains of the Central Serengeti on game drives. The park is home to the famous wildebeest migration, where millions of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles move in search of fresh grazing. Keep an eye out for the predators that follow this massive migration, such as lions, cheetahs, and hyenas. After an exhilarating day, return to your accommodation for a well-deserved rest.
Day 6: Central Serengeti - Ngorongoro Crater
Depart from the Central Serengeti and head towards the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Descend into the crater, which is home to an incredible concentration of wildlife, including the rare black rhino. Enjoy a game drive in this unique ecosystem, surrounded by the stunning crater walls. In the evening, retire to your lodge or campsite located on the crater rim.
Day 7: Ngorongoro Crater - Arusha - Departure
After breakfast, leave the Ngorongoro Crater and drive back to Arusha. Along the way, you can visit a local Maasai village to experience their traditional way of life and learn about their customs and traditions. In Arusha, you will be transferred to Kilimanjaro Airport for your departure flight, marking the end of your unforgettable Northern Parks of Tanzania adventure.
