Day 1: Arrival in Arusha
Upon arrival at Arusha, you will be greeted by our representative and transferred to your hotel. Take the rest of the day to relax and prepare for the exciting journey ahead.
Day 2: Arusha to Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park, known for its large elephant herds and baobab trees. Enjoy a game drive in the park, spotting various wildlife species such as lions, giraffes, and zebras. In the evening, head to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3: Tarangire to Serengeti National Park
Embark on an early morning game drive in Tarangire before departing for Serengeti National Park. En route, stop at the Ngorongoro Highlands for breathtaking views. Arrive in Serengeti in the afternoon and enjoy a game drive in the vast plains, witnessing the famous wildebeest migration (seasonal). Spend the night at a lodge in Serengeti.
Day 4: Full Day Game Drive in Serengeti
Spend the entire day exploring the Serengeti National Park, renowned for its abundant wildlife population. Witness predators in action, as well as other animals like cheetahs, hippos, and crocodiles. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park and continue with game drives until late afternoon. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 5: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater
After an early breakfast, depart for Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Descend into the crater and marvel at the stunning landscapes and diverse wildlife, including the Big Five. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the crater and continue with game drives. In the late afternoon, ascend back to the crater rim and head to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 6: Ngorongoro to Volcanoes National Park (Rwanda)
After breakfast, drive from Ngorongoro to the border of Tanzania and Rwanda. Complete border formalities and proceed to Volcanoes National Park in Rwanda. In the evening, relax at your lodge and prepare for the gorilla trekking experience the next day.
Day 7: Gorilla Trekking in Volcanoes National Park
Today is the highlight of your trip as you embark on an unforgettable gorilla trekking adventure in Volcanoes National Park. Trek through the dense forests in search of these magnificent creatures and spend an hour observing and photographing them in their natural habitat. After the trek, return to Kigali for a city tour and transfer to the airport for your departure flight.
