Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe

Upon your arrival at Entebbe Airport, you will be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel in Entebbe. Take some time to relax and acclimatize to the new surroundings. Depending on your arrival time, you can explore the local area or take a leisurely walk along the beautiful shores of Lake Victoria.

Day 2: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

After breakfast, you will embark on a scenic drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park. The journey takes you through the rolling hills and picturesque landscapes of western Uganda. On arrival, check in to your midrange accommodation and enjoy a delicious lunch. In the afternoon, go on a game drive in the park, where you can spot various wildlife such as elephants, lions, buffaloes, and antelopes.

Day 3: Morning Game Drive and Boat Safari

Start your day with an early morning game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park. This is the best time to see predators on the hunt and other animals in their natural habitat. After the game drive, return to your accommodation for breakfast. In the afternoon, enjoy a boat safari along the Kazinga Channel. This channel is known for its high concentration of hippos, crocodiles, and water birds.

Day 4: Transfer to Bwindi National Park

Today, you will drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, home to the endangered mountain gorillas. The journey takes you through the stunning scenery of the Albertine Rift Valley. Upon arrival, check in to your midrange lodge and have lunch. In the afternoon, you can take a nature walk around the lodge or visit the local community for a cultural experience.

Day 5: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi

Today is the highlight of your safari as you embark on the unforgettable gorilla trekking experience. After an early breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a briefing about gorilla etiquette and safety. You will then be assigned a gorilla family to track. Accompanied by experienced guides and trackers, hike through the dense forest in search of these magnificent creatures. Once you find them, spend a magical hour observing and photographing them in their natural habitat.

Day 6: Departure

After breakfast, bid farewell to Bwindi National Park as you drive back to Entebbe. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to Entebbe Airport for your departure flight, marking the end of your Uganda gorilla and wildlife midrange safari.
