Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe
Upon your arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be greeted by our representative who will transfer you to your hotel. Take some time to relax and acclimatize to the new surroundings. Depending on your arrival time, you can explore the nearby attractions such as the Entebbe Botanical Gardens or visit the Uganda Wildlife Education Centre. Overnight stay in Entebbe.
Day 2: Entebbe to Murchison Falls National Park
After breakfast, we will drive northwards towards Murchison Falls National Park. This journey will take approximately 5-6 hours, but it will be filled with beautiful landscapes and rural villages. Upon arrival, check-in at your lodge and enjoy a delicious lunch. In the afternoon, embark on a game drive in the park, where you can spot the big 5 - lions, elephants, buffalos, leopards, and rhinos. Overnight stay in Murchison Falls National Park.
Day 3: Murchison Falls National Park
Today, we will take an early morning game drive to explore more of Murchison Falls National Park. Keep your eyes peeled for the diverse wildlife and stunning scenery. After the game drive, return to the lodge for breakfast and some relaxation. In the afternoon, enjoy a boat safari on the Nile River to the base of the magnificent Murchison Falls. Here, the Nile River squeezes through a narrow gorge, creating a powerful waterfall. Overnight stay in Murchison Falls National Park.
Day 4: Murchison Falls National Park to Queen Elizabeth National Park
After breakfast, we will depart for Queen Elizabeth National Park. This journey will take approximately 6-7 hours, but you will have the opportunity to enjoy scenic views and stop at local markets along the way. Upon arrival, check-in at your lodge and have lunch. In the afternoon, embark on a thrilling game drive in the park, known for its diverse wildlife including tree-climbing lions, elephants, hippos, and more. Overnight stay in Queen Elizabeth National Park.
Day 5: Queen Elizabeth National Park
Today, we will have an early morning game drive to maximize our chances of spotting wildlife. Queen Elizabeth National Park is home to over 600 bird species, making it a paradise for birdwatchers. After the game drive, return to the lodge for breakfast and some relaxation. In the afternoon, go for a boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel, where you can see a variety of animals and birds along the shores. Overnight stay in Queen Elizabeth National Park.
Day 6: Chimpanzee Trekking and Departure from Entebbe
On the last day of your safari, we will head to the Kyambura Gorge for an exciting chimpanzee trekking experience. Trek through the dense forest in search of these fascinating primates and observe them in their natural habitat. After the trek, we will drive back to Entebbe, where you can enjoy a farewell dinner before being transferred to the airport for your departure flight.
