6-Day Bird Watching Safari: Immerse in Specialized Avian Experiences


Day 1: Arusha

Arrive in Arusha, a vibrant city located at the foothills of Mount Meru. After checking into your accommodation, take some time to explore the local markets and immerse yourself in the Tanzanian culture.

Day 2: Arusha National Park

Embark on a thrilling bird watching adventure in Arusha National Park. This park is home to over 400 bird species, including the beautiful flamingos that inhabit the Momella Lakes. Keep your eyes peeled for the elusive Crowned Eagle and the colorful Lilac-breasted Roller.

Day 3: Tarangire National Park

Travel to Tarangire National Park, known for its diverse birdlife. With over 550 bird species, this park is a paradise for bird watchers. Day 6: Ngorongoro Highlands and Ngorongoro Crater

Explore the stunning Ngorongoro Highlands and descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. While the crater is known for its dense wildlife population, it also offers fantastic bird watching opportunities. Keep your binoculars handy to spot the Verreaux's Eagle, Augur Buzzard, and the shy Fischer's Lovebird.
