Sossusvlei
Day 1: Windhoek
Upon arrival at Windhoek's Hosea Kutako International Airport, you will be met by your private guide and transferred to your luxury hotel in the heart of Windhoek. After checking in, you can spend the day exploring the city, visiting landmarks such as the Christuskirche, the Tintenpalast (Parliament Building), and the Katutura Township. In the evening, enjoy a delicious dinner at a local restaurant.
Day 2-3: Onguma Game Reserve
After breakfast, you will be driven to Onguma Game Reserve, located on the eastern border of Etosha National Park. You will spend the next two days exploring the reserve and the national park on game drives, searching for elephants, lions, cheetahs, giraffes, and other wildlife. You will also have the opportunity to go on guided nature walks and birdwatching tours. Your accommodation at Onguma will be in a luxurious safari lodge, with all meals and activities included.
Day 4: Damaraland
After breakfast, you will depart Onguma and head west towards Damaraland, a scenic region known for its red rock formations, ancient rock art, and desert-adapted wildlife. You will visit the Twyfelfontein rock engravings, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that features over 2,000 petroglyphs dating back to the Stone Age. You will also have the chance to spot desert elephants and black rhinos, as well as visit a local Himba village to learn about their unique way of life. Your overnight stay will be at a luxury lodge in the area.
Day 5: Sossusvlei
After breakfast, you will fly to Sossusvlei, a desert region in the southern part of Namibia that is home to some of the highest sand dunes in the world. You will spend the day exploring the dunes, taking in the breathtaking scenery and photographing the stunning landscapes. You will also visit the Sesriem Canyon, a natural gorge that is over 30 meters deep and was formed by the Tsauchab River. Your accommodation will be in a luxury tented camp, with all meals and activities included.
Day 6: Departure
After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight back home, marking the end of your luxury Namibia itinerary.
