Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe
Upon your arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be greeted by our representative who will transfer you to your hotel in Entebbe. Take some time to relax and recover from your journey. Depending on your arrival time, you may have the opportunity to explore the city of Entebbe, visit the beautiful Botanical Gardens, or take a stroll along the shores of Lake Victoria.
Day 2: Transfer to Kampala
After breakfast, we will drive to Kampala, the capital city of Uganda. Along the way, you will have the chance to see the vibrant Ugandan countryside and get a glimpse of local life. Once in Kampala, we will check into our hotel and then visit some of the city's highlights, such as the Uganda Museum, the Kasubi Tombs, and the bustling markets.
Day 3: Flight to Kidepo Valley National Park
Today, we will take a domestic flight from Entebbe to Kidepo Valley National Park. Upon arrival, we will transfer to our lodge located within the park. Kidepo Valley National Park is known for its remote and untouched beauty, as well as its abundant wildlife. In the afternoon, we will embark on our first game drive, where we may encounter elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, and various bird species.
Day 4: Full Day Game Drive in Kidepo Valley National Park
We will spend the entire day exploring the vast wilderness of Kidepo Valley National Park. Our experienced guide will take us on game drives in search of the park's diverse wildlife, including the rare and endemic species such as the Kidepo gazelle and the cheetah. We will also have the opportunity to visit the local Karamojong community and learn about their unique culture and way of life.
Day 5: Flight to Murchison Falls National Park
After breakfast, we will take a domestic flight to Murchison Falls National Park. Upon arrival, we will transfer to our lodge along the Nile River. In the afternoon, we will embark on a memorable boat safari on the Victoria Nile to the base of the magnificent Murchison Falls. Along the way, we will have the chance to spot hippos, crocodiles, buffaloes, and a variety of bird species.
Day 6: Game Drive and Departure
Today, we will wake up early for a game drive in the northern part of Murchison Falls National Park. This area is known for its population of giraffes, elephants, lions, and various antelope species. After the game drive, we will return to the lodge for breakfast. Later, we will transfer back to Entebbe International Airport for your departure flight.
