Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe
Upon your arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be greeted by our guide who will transfer you to your hotel in Entebbe. Take some time to relax and settle in after your journey. Depending on your arrival time, you may have the opportunity to explore the town or take a leisurely stroll along the shores of Lake Victoria.
Day 2: Entebbe to Murchison Falls National Park
After breakfast, we will drive northwards to Murchison Falls National Park. This scenic journey will take you through beautiful landscapes and local villages. Upon reaching the park, check-in at your lodge and enjoy a delicious lunch. In the afternoon, embark on a game drive where you can spot a variety of wildlife including elephants, giraffes, lions, and more. End the day with a boat cruise on the Nile River to witness the breathtaking Murchison Falls, where the Nile forces its way through a narrow gap, creating a magnificent waterfall.
Day 3: Game Drive and Boat Safari in Murchison Falls National Park
Start your day with an early morning game drive in the park, offering the opportunity to see the park's diverse wildlife during their most active hours. Explore different areas of the park and keep an eye out for elephants, buffaloes, hyenas, and various antelope species. After the game drive, return to your lodge for a relaxing lunch. In the afternoon, enjoy a boat safari along the Nile River, witnessing wildlife such as hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of bird species.
Day 4: Murchison Falls to Kibale National Park
Today, we will depart Murchison Falls National Park and head towards Kibale National Park. The journey will take you through picturesque landscapes and traditional villages. Upon arrival at Kibale, check-in at your lodge and enjoy a delicious lunch. In the afternoon, you can take a nature walk in the nearby Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary, where you can spot various primates and bird species.
Day 5: Chimpanzee Trekking in Kibale National Park
After an early breakfast, head to the Kibale National Park headquarters for a briefing before your chimpanzee trekking adventure. Accompanied by experienced guides, embark on a trek through the lush forest in search of these incredible primates. As you observe the chimpanzees in their natural habitat, you will also encounter other primate species and a variety of birdlife. In the afternoon, you have the option to visit the nearby Crater Lakes or take a community walk to learn about the local culture and traditions.
Day 6: Kibale to Queen Elizabeth National Park and Departure
On your final day, we will drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park after breakfast. Upon arrival, check-in at your lodge and have a delicious lunch. In the afternoon, enjoy a game drive in the park, which is home to a wide range of wildlife including elephants, lions, leopards, and various antelope species. After the game drive, our guide will transfer you back to Entebbe International Airport for your departure flight, marking the end of an incredible safari experience.
