6-Day Camping Safari: Manyara, Ngorongoro, Serengeti & Tarangire

Day 1: Arusha

Arrive in Arusha, the gateway to Tanzania's famous national parks. Transfer to your hotel and spend the day exploring the city. Visit the vibrant local markets, sample traditional Tanzanian cuisine, and immerse yourself in the local culture.

Day 2: Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, head to Tarangire National Park. Known for its large elephant herds and baobab trees, Tarangire offers unique wildlife viewing opportunities. Embark on a game drive and keep your eyes peeled for lions, giraffes, zebras, and more. Set up camp in the park and enjoy a night under the stars.

Day 3: Serengeti National Park

Wake up early and depart for Serengeti National Park, one of Africa's most iconic wildlife destinations. Enjoy a scenic drive through the park and spot the "Big Five" - lions, elephants, buffalos, leopards, and rhinos. Set up camp in Serengeti and listen to the sounds of the wilderness as you fall asleep.

Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater

Leave Serengeti and head to the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Descend into the crater, often referred to as the "Garden of Eden," and explore its diverse ecosystem. Spot wildlife including zebras, wildebeests, hippos, and flamingos. Camp near the crater rim and enjoy breathtaking views.

Day 5: Mto wa Mbu

Visit the bustling town of Mto wa Mbu, located near Lake Manyara. Explore the local markets, interact with the friendly Maasai people, and learn about their traditional way of life. Take a guided walk through the village and discover its rich cultural heritage. Return to your campsite for a relaxing evening.

Day 6: Departure

After breakfast, pack up your camping gear and bid farewell to the Tanzanian wilderness. Transfer back to Arusha, where you can catch your onward flight or extend your stay to explore more of Tanzania's natural beauty and wildlife.
