Ultimate 6-Day Kibale, Queen Elizabeth & Bwindi Safari


Day 1: Entebbe

Arrive at Entebbe International Airport and transfer to your hotel. Take some time to relax and recover from your journey. In the afternoon, you can visit the Uganda Wildlife Education Centre, located on the shores of Lake Victoria. Here, you can learn about the country's wildlife conservation efforts and see various animals up close.

Day 2: Kibale National Park

After breakfast, drive to Kibale National Park, known for its population of chimpanzees. Upon arrival, check-in at your lodge and have lunch. In the afternoon, embark on a guided nature walk in the park, where you can encounter other primates such as red colobus monkeys and grey-cheeked mangabeys. End the day with a relaxing evening at your lodge.

Day 3: Queen Elizabeth National Park

After breakfast, depart for Queen Elizabeth National Park, famous for its diverse wildlife and stunning landscapes. Enjoy a game drive through the park, during which you might spot elephants, lions, buffaloes, and various antelope species. In the afternoon, take a boat safari along the Kazinga Channel, where you can see hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of bird species. Overnight stay at a lodge in the park.

Day 4: Bwindi National Park

Today, travel to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, home to almost half of the world's remaining mountain gorilla population. Upon arrival, check-in at your lodge and have lunch. In the afternoon, you can visit the local Batwa community to learn about their traditional way of life and participate in cultural activities. End the day with a delicious dinner at your lodge.

Day 5: Gorilla Trekking

One of the highlights of your safari is gorilla trekking in Bwindi National Park. After an early breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a briefing by the rangers. Then, embark on an unforgettable trek through the dense forest to find a gorilla family. Spend up to one hour observing these incredible primates in their natural habitat. After the trek, return to your lodge for a well-deserved rest.

Day 6: Lake Bunyonyi

On your last day, you will visit Lake Bunyonyi, one of Uganda's most beautiful lakes. Enjoy a scenic boat ride on the lake, surrounded by lush green hills and small islands. You can also take a swim or simply relax on the lakeshore. In the afternoon, depart for Entebbe, where you will be dropped off at the airport for your departure flight. Overall, this 6-day safari will take you through the best of Uganda's national parks, allowing you to witness diverse wildlife, stunning landscapes, and the incredible mountain gorillas.
