5-Day Murchison Safari: Hot Air Balloon, Boat & Chimp Experience
Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe
Upon your arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be greeted by our representative who will transfer you to your hotel. Take some time to relax and acclimatize to the beautiful surroundings.
Day 2: Entebbe to Murchison Falls National Park
After breakfast, we will start our journey to Murchison Falls National Park. The scenic drive will take us through small towns and lush green countryside. Upon arrival, we will check-in at our lodge and have lunch.
In the afternoon, we will embark on a thrilling boat safari on the Nile River. Enjoy the stunning views of wildlife such as hippos, crocodiles, and various bird species. The boat ride will take us to the base of the magnificent Murchison Falls, where the Nile River forces its way through a narrow gorge.
Day 3: Hot Air Balloon Safari and Game Drive
Wake up early to experience an unforgettable hot air balloon safari over the vast plains of Murchison Falls National Park. Marvel at the sunrise and the panoramic views of the park from above. Spot herds of elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, and other wildlife roaming freely in their natural habitat.
After the balloon ride, we will have a delicious breakfast and then head out for a game drive in the park. Our experienced guide will take us to the best spots for wildlife sightings. Keep your camera ready as we search for lions, leopards, hyenas, and various antelope species.
Day 4: Budongo Forest Chimpanzee Trekking
Today, we will visit Budongo Forest, a pristine tropical rainforest known for its diverse wildlife. After breakfast, we will drive to the forest and start our chimpanzee trekking adventure. Follow the experienced guides as they lead you through the forest, tracking the playful and intelligent chimpanzees.
Observe these fascinating creatures as they swing from tree to tree, feed, and interact with each other. Learn about their behaviors, habitats, and conservation efforts to protect them. After the trek, we will return to our lodge for a relaxing evening.
Day 5: Return to Entebbe
After breakfast, we will bid farewell to Murchison Falls National Park and start our journey back to Entebbe. Enjoy the scenic drive and take in the beautiful landscapes one last time. Upon arrival in Entebbe, our representative will transfer you to the airport for your departure flight, marking the end of an incredible safari experience.
