Day 1: Arrival at Entebbe Airport
Upon your arrival at Entebbe Airport, you will be greeted by our representative who will assist you with the immigration process and transfer you to your accommodation in Entebbe. Take the rest of the day to relax and recover from your journey, enjoying the beautiful surroundings of Entebbe.
Day 2: Exploring Kibale National Park
After breakfast, you will depart for Kibale National Park, located in western Uganda. The journey will take you through scenic landscapes and local villages, offering you a glimpse into the daily lives of Ugandan people. Upon arrival at Kibale National Park, check in to your lodge and enjoy some leisure time.
Kibale National Park is famous for its chimpanzee population and is home to over 1,500 individuals. In the afternoon, embark on a chimpanzee trekking adventure. Accompanied by experienced guides, venture into the dense forest in search of these incredible primates. Observe their behavior, listen to their calls, and learn about their conservation.
Day 3: Transfer to Bwindi National Park
After breakfast, bid farewell to Kibale National Park and embark on a scenic drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The journey will take you through the picturesque landscapes of western Uganda, passing by tea plantations, rolling hills, and traditional villages.
Upon arrival at Bwindi National Park, check in to your lodge and enjoy some leisure time. Bwindi is renowned for its population of endangered mountain gorillas, with approximately half of the world's remaining gorilla population residing here.
Day 4: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi National Park
Today is the highlight of your trip as you embark on an unforgettable gorilla trekking experience. After an early morning briefing by the park rangers, set off into the dense forest in search of the gorilla family assigned to your group.
Trekking through the thick vegetation can be physically demanding but is immensely rewarding. Once you find the gorillas, spend an hour observing their behavior, taking photos, and immersing yourself in their presence. It is a truly magical experience that will leave you in awe of these incredible creatures.
After the trek, return to your lodge and relax, reflecting on the incredible encounter with the gorillas.
Day 5: Departure from Entebbe
After breakfast, bid farewell to Bwindi National Park and embark on the journey back to Entebbe. As you drive through the scenic landscapes, take in the beauty of Uganda one last time.
Upon arrival in Entebbe, you will be transferred to Entebbe Airport for your departure flight, marking the end of your 5-day chimpanzee and gorilla adventure in Uganda.
