Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe
Upon your arrival at Entebbe Airport, you will be welcomed by our representative who will assist you with immigration and customs procedures. Afterward, you will be transferred to your hotel in Entebbe, where you can relax and prepare for the exciting adventure ahead.
Day 2: Entebbe to Kibale National Park
In the morning, you will depart from Entebbe and head towards Kibale National Park. The journey will take you through beautiful landscapes, including lush green tea plantations and traditional Ugandan villages. Upon arrival in Kibale, you will check into your accommodation and have some leisure time to explore the surroundings.
Day 3: Chimpanzee Tracking in Kibale National Park
Today, you will embark on an unforgettable chimpanzee tracking experience in Kibale National Park. Accompanied by experienced guides, you will venture into the forest in search of these fascinating creatures. As you trek through the dense vegetation, keep an eye out for other primates and bird species that inhabit the park. After observing the chimpanzees in their natural habitat, you will return to your accommodation.
Day 4: Kibale National Park to Bwindi National Park
After breakfast, you will depart from Kibale National Park and make your way to Bwindi National Park. The journey will take you through scenic landscapes, including the famous "Switzerland of Africa" area. Upon arrival in Bwindi, you will check into your accommodation and have some leisure time to relax and prepare for the gorilla tracking experience.
Day 5: Gorilla Tracking in Bwindi National Park
Today is the highlight of your adventure – gorilla tracking in Bwindi National Park. Accompanied by experienced guides and trackers, you will trek through the thick forest in search of these magnificent creatures. Once you locate a gorilla family, you will have a unique opportunity to observe them up close and learn about their behavior from the knowledgeable guides. After spending a magical hour with the gorillas, you will return to your accommodation.
After the gorilla tracking experience, you will be transferred back to Entebbe Airport for your departure flight or to your next destination in Uganda.
Remember to bring appropriate clothing and footwear for trekking in the forests, as well as insect repellent, sunscreen, and a good camera to capture the incredible moments during your adventure.
