4-Day Uganda Gorilla Trekking from Kigali: Midrange Option

Day 1: Arrival in Kigali

Upon your arrival at Kigali International Airport, our representative will meet and greet you. You will then be transferred to your midrange accommodation in Kigali, where you can relax and recover from your journey. Take this day to explore the vibrant city of Kigali, visit the Genocide Memorial Centre, or simply unwind and prepare for the exciting days ahead.

Day 2: Transfer to Bwindi National Park

After breakfast, we will drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in southwestern Uganda. This scenic journey will take you through the stunning landscapes of Rwanda and Uganda, allowing you to witness the beauty of the region. Upon arrival at Bwindi, you will check into your midrange lodge and have some leisure time.

Day 3: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi National Park

Today is the highlight of your trip as you embark on an unforgettable gorilla trekking experience in Bwindi National Park. After an early morning briefing, you will start your trek through the dense forest, guided by experienced trackers. The trek can vary in duration depending on the location of the gorilla family you are assigned to. Once you find the gorillas, you will spend an hour in their presence, observing and photographing these incredible creatures. After the trek, return to the lodge to relax and reflect on this incredible encounter.

Day 4: Return to Kigali and Departure

After breakfast, bid farewell to Bwindi National Park and drive back to Kigali. En route, enjoy the beautiful scenery and make stops at local markets or viewpoints. Upon arrival in Kigali, you will have the opportunity to do some last-minute shopping or visit any sites you missed on the first day. Finally, our representative will transfer you to Kigali International Airport for your departure flight, marking the end of your memorable Uganda gorilla trekking adventure.
