4-Day Mid Range Tour: Manyara, Serengeti & Ngorongoro
Day 1: Arusha - Lake Manyara National Park
Your 4-day adventure begins in Arusha, where you will be picked up from your hotel or the airport and driven to Lake Manyara National Park. The journey takes approximately 2 hours, and upon arrival, you'll embark on a game drive in the park.
Lake Manyara National Park is known for its diverse wildlife and stunning landscapes. Keep an eye out for elephants, giraffes, zebras, and a variety of bird species as you explore the park. You'll also have the opportunity to spot the famous tree-climbing lions that inhabit the area.
After an exciting day of game viewing, you'll head to your mid-range accommodation for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2: Lake Manyara - Ngorongoro Crater
On day 2, after breakfast, you'll depart for the Ngorongoro Crater. The drive takes approximately 3 hours, and along the way, you'll enjoy scenic views of the Tanzanian countryside.
Upon arrival at the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, you'll descend into the crater for a full-day game drive. The Ngorongoro Crater is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is home to a high concentration of wildlife, including the Big Five (lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and rhino).
You'll have the opportunity to spot an array of wildlife, including wildebeests, zebras, hippos, and various bird species. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the crater before ascending back to the rim for dinner and overnight stay at a mid-range lodge.
Day 3: Ngorongoro - Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, you'll depart for the Serengeti National Park. The journey takes approximately 4-5 hours, but the scenic landscapes along the way will keep you entertained.
As you enter the Serengeti, you'll embark on a game drive en route to your accommodation. The Serengeti is famous for its annual wildebeest migration, where millions of wildebeests, zebras, and gazelles move across the plains in search of fresh grazing lands.
Explore the vast plains of the Serengeti and witness the incredible wildlife that inhabits the area. Keep an eye out for lions, cheetahs, elephants, and other iconic African animals. After an eventful day, retire to your mid-range lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 4: Serengeti - Arusha
On the final day of your tour, wake up early for a sunrise game drive in the Serengeti. This is the best time to spot predators in action as they hunt for their morning meal.
After the game drive, return to your lodge for breakfast and check-out. You'll then begin your journey back to Arusha, with a picnic lunch en route. Arrive in Arusha in the late afternoon, where you'll be dropped off at your hotel or the airport, marking the end of your 4-day Manyara, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro mid-range tour.
