This is a 4-Day Le Petit Bukima Package covering Kigali , Goma , Virunga NP , Mt Nyiragongo at a cost of $2,200. Below is the best Itinerary that helps you explore these destinations on a safari starting from Kigali.
Day 1: Arrival in Kigali
You will arrive at Kigali International Airport where you will be met by a representative of Bukima Safaris who will transfer you to your hotel. Depending on your arrival time, you may have the opportunity to visit some of the city's cultural and historical sites, such as the Kigali Genocide Memorial or the Inema Arts Center.

Day 2: Kigali to Goma
After breakfast, you will be picked up by your driver and transferred to Goma, a city located on the eastern border of the Democratic Republic of Congo. The journey will take approximately 4-5 hours, depending on traffic and border procedures.
Upon arrival in Goma, you will check into your hotel and have some free time to explore the city. Goma is situated on the edge of Lake Kivu and is known for its vibrant markets and lively port area.

Day 3: Virunga National Park and Mount Nyiragongo
After an early breakfast, you will set off for Virunga National Park, where you will begin your trek up Mount Nyiragongo. The hike takes approximately 5-6 hours and will take you through lush rainforest and up steep lava rock slopes to the summit of the volcano.
At the top of the volcano, you will be rewarded with stunning views of the surrounding landscape and the bubbling lava lake in the crater. You will spend the night in basic accommodation on the rim of the crater, where you can watch the lava lake as it glows and spits throughout the night.
Overnight at the summit of Mount Nyiragongo.
Day 4: Descend Mount Nyiragongo and Return to Kigali
In the morning, you will have breakfast with the spectacular views of the lava lake before descending the volcano and returning to Goma. You will have some free time in Goma before being transferred back to Kigali, where you will catch your flight home.
