Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe
Upon your arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be greeted by our friendly guide who will transfer you to your luxury accommodation in Entebbe. Take some time to relax and acclimate to your new surroundings. If time permits, you can explore the beautiful Entebbe Botanical Gardens or visit the Uganda Wildlife Education Centre, which houses a variety of wildlife species.
Day 2: Transfer to Bwindi National Park
After an early breakfast, you will embark on a scenic drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The journey will take you through rural Uganda, offering breathtaking views of the countryside. Upon arrival in Bwindi, check into your luxury lodge and enjoy a delicious lunch. In the afternoon, you can either relax at the lodge or take a guided nature walk around the lodge area.
Day 3: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi National Park
Today is the highlight of your safari - gorilla trekking in Bwindi National Park. After an early breakfast, you will proceed to the park headquarters for a briefing by the park rangers. Once assigned a gorilla family to track, you will embark on an unforgettable trek through the dense forest in search of these gentle giants. The trek can be challenging at times, but the reward of coming face to face with a gorilla family is truly worth it. Spend an hour observing and photographing the gorillas before trekking back to the park headquarters. Return to your luxury lodge for a well-deserved rest and dinner.
Day 4: Return to Entebbe
After breakfast, bid farewell to the beautiful Bwindi National Park and begin your journey back to Entebbe. Enjoy the scenic drive and make a stop at the Equator for a photo opportunity and some souvenir shopping. Arrive in Entebbe in the late afternoon and transfer to the airport for your departure flight, marking the end of your unforgettable luxury gorilla safari in Uganda.
