Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe
Upon arrival at Entebbe Airport, you will be greeted by our representative who will assist you with the transfer to your hotel. Take some time to relax and unwind after your flight, enjoying the beautiful surroundings of Entebbe. Located on the shores of Lake Victoria, Entebbe offers stunning views and a tranquil atmosphere. You can explore the town or visit the Botanical Gardens, which is home to a variety of tropical plants and bird species.
Day 2: Transfer to Bwindi National Park
After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Bwindi National Park. Upon arrival, you will be met by our guide who will take you to your lodge. Bwindi National Park is famous for its population of mountain gorillas, which are an endangered species. The park is also home to a diverse range of other wildlife and bird species.
After lunch, you will have the opportunity to go for a guided nature walk in the park, where you can spot various primates, birds, and butterflies. In the evening, you can relax at your lodge and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.
Day 3: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi National Park
Today is the highlight of your safari adventure - gorilla trekking in Bwindi National Park. After an early breakfast, you will be accompanied by experienced guides and rangers who will lead you through the dense forest in search of the gorillas. The trek can be quite challenging, as the terrain is steep and rugged, but the reward of encountering these magnificent creatures up close is truly unforgettable.
Once you locate a gorilla family, you will spend up to one hour observing and photographing them from a safe distance. You will be able to witness their social interactions, feeding habits, and playful behavior. After the trek, you will return to your lodge and have the rest of the day to relax and reflect on this incredible experience.
Day 4: Return to Entebbe
After breakfast, you will be transferred back to the airport for your flight to Entebbe. Upon arrival, you may have some free time to explore the town or do some last-minute souvenir shopping. Our representative will then escort you to the airport for your departure flight, marking the end of your memorable gorilla flying safari adventure in Uganda.
