Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe
Upon your arrival at Entebbe Airport, you will be met by our representative who will transfer you to your hotel in Entebbe. Take some time to relax and acclimatize to the surroundings. Depending on your arrival time, you can explore the town and visit the beautiful Entebbe Botanical Gardens or the Uganda Wildlife Education Centre. Enjoy a delicious dinner at a local restaurant and spend the night at your hotel.
Day 2: Transfer to Bwindi National Park
After breakfast, you will embark on a scenic drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. This journey will take you through rural landscapes, dotted with traditional villages and lush green tea plantations. Arrive at Bwindi in the afternoon and check in at your lodge. Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure, soaking in the tranquility of the surrounding rainforest. In the evening, savor a tasty dinner and get a good night's sleep.
Day 3: Gorilla Trekking and Lake Bunyonyi
Today is the highlight of your trip – gorilla trekking! After an early breakfast, head to the park headquarters where you will receive a briefing about the trek and be allocated a gorilla family to visit. Accompanied by experienced guides and trackers, embark on an unforgettable hike through the dense jungle in search of these magnificent creatures. Once you find them, spend an hour observing their behavior and capturing memories through your lens. After the trek, return to the lodge for a late lunch.
In the afternoon, you will transfer to the breathtaking Lake Bunyonyi, known as the "Switzerland of Africa." Enjoy the stunning scenery as you navigate the winding roads to reach the lake. Upon arrival, check in at your lodge and take some time to relax. You can choose to go for a boat ride on the lake, visit the local communities, or simply unwind by the lakeside. In the evening, indulge in a delicious dinner while enjoying the peaceful ambiance of Lake Bunyonyi. Spend the night at your lodge.
Day 4: Departure
After breakfast, bid farewell to Lake Bunyonyi and embark on the journey back to Entebbe. You will have the opportunity to stop for lunch at a local restaurant along the way. Upon arrival in Entebbe, our representative will transfer you to Entebbe Airport for your departure flight, marking the end of your Uganda gorilla trekking tour.
