Unforgettable 3-Day Gorilla Trekking in Uganda


Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe

Upon your arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be greeted by our representative who will transfer you to your hotel in Entebbe. Take some time to relax and recover from your journey. In the afternoon, you can visit the Uganda Wildlife Education Centre, which is located on the shores of Lake Victoria. Here, you can learn about Uganda's diverse wildlife and conservation efforts.

Day 2: Transfer to Bwindi National Park

After breakfast, you will embark on a scenic road trip to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The journey will take you through beautiful landscapes and rural villages, providing a glimpse into the authentic Ugandan way of life. Upon arrival at the park, check into your lodge and enjoy a delicious lunch.

In the afternoon, you can take a guided nature walk around the park's perimeter, where you may encounter various bird species and small mammals. Alternatively, you can visit the nearby Batwa Pygmy community and learn about their traditional way of life.

Day 3: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi National Park

Today is the highlight of your trip – gorilla trekking in Bwindi National Park. After an early breakfast, you will be transferred to the park headquarters for a briefing by the park rangers. They will provide you with important information about gorilla behavior and the rules and regulations of the trek.

Once the briefing is complete, you will set off on your gorilla trekking adventure. The trek can be physically demanding, as you navigate through dense vegetation and steep terrain. However, the reward of encountering these magnificent creatures in their natural habitat is truly unforgettable.

After spending a memorable hour with the gorillas, you will trek back to the park headquarters and receive your gorilla trekking certificate. In the afternoon, you can relax at your lodge or take a guided nature walk to explore more of the park's biodiversity.

Day 4: Lake Bunyonyi and Departure

After breakfast, you will depart from Bwindi National Park and head to Lake Bunyonyi, known as the "Switzerland of Africa." The lake is famous for its stunning scenery of rolling hills and 29 islands.

Upon arrival at Lake Bunyonyi, you can take a boat ride to explore some of the islands and enjoy the tranquility of the surroundings. You can also engage in optional activities such as swimming, bird watching, or visiting a local community.

In the afternoon, you will start your journey back to Entebbe International Airport for your departure flight. Our representative will ensure you arrive in time to catch your flight, marking the end of your memorable gorilla trekking experience in Uganda.
