Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater
On the third day, we will wake up early to catch the sunrise over the Serengeti before departing for the Ngorongoro Crater. This natural wonder is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is often referred to as the "Eighth Wonder of the World". Descend into the crater, which was once a massive volcano, and explore the unique ecosystem that supports a high concentration of wildlife.
During our game drive in the Ngorongoro Crater, you may spot various animals such as lions, cheetahs, elephants, zebras, and flamingos. The crater also provides a great opportunity for bird watching, with over 400 bird species recorded in the area.
After an exhilarating day of wildlife encounters, we will make our way back to Arusha, where your tour will conclude. Upon arrival in Arusha, you will be transferred to the airport or your hotel, depending on your onward travel arrangements.
