3-Day Murchison Falls & African Big 5 Safari
Day 1: Entebbe Arrival
Your 3-day Murchison Falls and African Big 5 Safari begins with your arrival at Entebbe International Airport. You will be greeted by our friendly guide who will transfer you to your accommodation in Entebbe. Take some time to relax and acclimate to the new environment.
Day 2: Entebbe to Murchison Falls National Park
After breakfast, we will start our journey towards Murchison Falls National Park. The park is located in northwestern Uganda and is known for its abundant wildlife, including the African Big 5 - lions, elephants, buffalos, leopards, and rhinos.
Upon arrival, we will check in at our lodge and have lunch. In the afternoon, we will embark on a game drive through the park, where you will have the opportunity to spot a variety of animals, such as giraffes, antelopes, hyenas, and more. Keep your camera ready for some amazing wildlife photography.
As the sun sets, we will head back to the lodge for a delicious dinner and a well-deserved rest.
Day 3: Murchison Falls National Park and Boat Safari
Today, we will explore the park further and experience a boat safari on the Nile River. After breakfast, we will drive to the river where we will board a boat to the base of the magnificent Murchison Falls. Along the way, you will have the chance to see hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of bird species.
Once we reach the falls, prepare to be amazed by the powerful rush of water as it squeezes through a narrow gorge. This is a perfect opportunity for some breathtaking photos.
After the boat safari, we will have lunch and then embark on another game drive, giving you the chance to spot any animals you may have missed the previous day. Keep an eye out for the elusive lions and leopards!
In the evening, we will return to the lodge for a scrumptious dinner and a good night's sleep.
Day 4: Murchison Falls to Entebbe Departure
On the final day of your safari, we will have breakfast and then begin our journey back to Entebbe. Along the way, we will stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, the only place in Uganda where you can see rhinos in the wild. Take a guided walk to observe these magnificent creatures up close and learn about conservation efforts.
After the rhino encounter, we will continue our drive to Entebbe International Airport, where our safari will come to an end. You will depart with unforgettable memories of the Murchison Falls and the African Big 5.
