Day 1: Arriving in Entebbe
Upon your arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be greeted by our friendly guide who will transfer you to your accommodation in Entebbe. Take some time to relax and recover from your journey, perhaps exploring the nearby beaches or visiting the Uganda Wildlife Education Centre.
Day 2: Entebbe to Murchison Falls National Park
After an early breakfast, we will depart Entebbe and drive to Murchison Falls National Park, located in northwestern Uganda. The journey will take approximately 5-6 hours, but the scenic drive will surely keep you entertained.
Once we arrive at the park, we will check into our budget accommodation and have lunch at a nearby restaurant. In the afternoon, we will embark on a thrilling game drive through the park, where you will have the opportunity to spot a wide array of wildlife, including elephants, giraffes, lions, buffaloes, and more.
After the game drive, we will head to the top of the Murchison Falls, where the Nile River squeezes through a narrow gorge, creating a magnificent waterfall. You can take stunning photos and witness the power of nature up close. We will then return to our accommodation for dinner and a well-deserved rest.
Day 3: Boat Safari and Departure
Start your day with an early breakfast before embarking on a boat safari on the Nile River. This thrilling experience will take you along the river, where you can spot hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of bird species. The boat will then take you to the base of the Murchison Falls, allowing you to witness the sheer force of the water cascading down.
After the boat safari, we will head back to the lodge for lunch before beginning our return journey to Entebbe. We will drive through the scenic countryside, stopping for photo opportunities along the way. You will have the chance to purchase souvenirs and interact with the locals at small towns en route.
Finally, we will drop you off at Entebbe International Airport in time for your departure flight, marking the end of your memorable 3-day Murchison Falls budget tour.
