Day 1: Arrival in Kigali, Rwanda
Upon your arrival in Kigali, Rwanda, you will be greeted by our representative who will assist you with the immigration process. Afterward, you will be transferred to your hotel in Kigali to relax and unwind after your journey. Take this opportunity to explore the vibrant city, visit the Genocide Memorial Museum, or indulge in local cuisine at one of the restaurants.
Day 2: Transfer to Bwindi National Park
After breakfast, you will embark on a scenic drive from Kigali to Bwindi National Park in Uganda. The journey takes approximately 4-5 hours, but the breathtaking landscapes and countryside views will keep you entertained throughout the trip. Upon arrival at Bwindi National Park, you will check-in to your lodge and have some time to relax.
Day 3: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi National Park
Today is the highlight of your trip as you embark on an unforgettable gorilla trekking experience in Bwindi National Park. After an early morning briefing by the park rangers, you will begin your trek through the dense forest in search of the endangered mountain gorillas. The trek can vary in duration, but it is an incredible adventure that allows you to observe these magnificent creatures in their natural habitat.
Once you locate a gorilla family, you will spend a precious hour observing their behavior, interactions, and taking photographs. It is a truly awe-inspiring experience that will leave you with lifelong memories. After the trek, you will return to your lodge to relax and reflect on this incredible wildlife encounter.
Day 4: Departure
After breakfast, you will bid farewell to Bwindi National Park and begin your journey back to Kigali, Rwanda. Our representative will transfer you to the airport, where you can catch your onward flight or continue with your travel arrangements.
