Day 1: Arrival in Kigali, Rwanda
Upon your arrival at Kigali International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative who will assist you with the immigration formalities. Afterward, you will be transferred to your hotel in Kigali to relax and settle in.
Kigali, the capital city of Rwanda, has a rich history and vibrant culture. You can explore the city's attractions such as the Kigali Genocide Memorial, which provides a poignant insight into the country's tragic past. Enjoy a delicious dinner at a local restaurant and spend the night at your hotel in Kigali.
Day 2: Transfer to Bwindi National Park
After an early breakfast, you will embark on a scenic drive from Kigali to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in Uganda. The journey takes approximately 4-5 hours, crossing the border between Rwanda and Uganda.
Bwindi National Park is renowned for its population of endangered mountain gorillas. Upon arrival, you will check into your lodge and have some time to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. In the afternoon, you can take a guided nature walk through the forest, immersing yourself in the unique flora and fauna of the park.
Day 3: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi National Park
Today is the highlight of your trip as you embark on an unforgettable gorilla trekking experience in Bwindi National Park. After an early breakfast, you will head to the park headquarters for a briefing by the experienced guides.
The trekking adventure will take you through the dense forest, as you search for a gorilla family to observe and spend time with. Once you find them, you will have a magical hour in their presence, watching their behavior and capturing incredible photographs.
After the gorilla trek, you will return to your lodge to freshen up and relax. In the evening, you can visit a local community to learn about their traditions and enjoy cultural performances. Enjoy a farewell dinner and spend the night at your lodge in Bwindi National Park.
Day 4: Return to Kigali and Departure
After breakfast, you will bid farewell to Bwindi National Park and begin your journey back to Kigali. Upon reaching Kigali, you can opt for a city tour, visiting markets, craft centers, and other attractions.
Later, you will be transferred to Kigali International Airport for your departure flight, marking the end of your memorable Bwindi Gorilla Trek from Kigali, Rwanda.
