Day 1: Arrival at Entebbe International Airport
Upon your arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our tour guide who will transfer you to your hotel in Entebbe. Take this day to relax and acclimatize to the local surroundings.
Day 2: Exploring Entebbe
After breakfast, embark on a city tour of Entebbe. Visit attractions such as the Uganda Wildlife Education Centre, Botanical Gardens, and the Entebbe Zoo. Enjoy a relaxing evening by Lake Victoria.
Day 3: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park
After breakfast, depart for Murchison Falls National Park. Enjoy a scenic drive through beautiful landscapes and arrive at the park in the afternoon. Check-in at your lodge, and in the evening, embark on a game drive to spot wildlife species such as elephants, lions, giraffes, and more.
Day 4: Murchison Falls National Park
Wake up early for a morning game drive in the park. Explore the vast savannah plains and spot a variety of animals as they start their day. In the afternoon, take a boat safari on the Nile River to experience the breathtaking Murchison Falls up close.
Day 5: Transfer to Kibale National Park
After breakfast, depart for Kibale National Park, renowned for its population of chimpanzees. Arrive at your lodge in the afternoon and relax. In the evening, take a guided nature walk through the park to spot various primate species and birds.
Day 6: Chimpanzee Tracking in Kibale National Park
Today, embark on an exciting chimpanzee tracking adventure in Kibale National Park. Trek through the forest, following the sounds and signs of the chimpanzees. Observe these incredible primates in their natural habitat and learn about their behavior and conservation efforts.
Day 7: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
After breakfast, drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park, famous for its diverse wildlife and stunning landscapes. Enjoy a game drive as you enter the park and check-in at your lodge. In the evening, take a relaxing boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel.
Day 8: Game Drive and Ishasha Sector
Embark on an early morning game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park to witness the park come to life. Spot elephants, buffaloes, antelopes, and various bird species. Afterward, transfer to the Ishasha sector, known for its tree-climbing lions. Enjoy a game drive to spot these unique lions and other wildlife.
Day 9: Transfer to Bwindi National Park
After breakfast, set off for Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, home to the endangered mountain gorillas. Arrive at your lodge in the afternoon and relax. In the evening, take a guided nature walk to explore the surrounding area.
Day 10: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi National Park
Today is the highlight of your trip as you embark on a gorilla trekking adventure in Bwindi National Park. Trek through the dense forest, led by experienced guides, to find a gorilla family. Spend an unforgettable hour observing these gentle giants and learning about their conservation.
Day 11-19: Extra Days in Bwindi
Spend the next nine days exploring and enjoying the beauty of Bwindi National Park. You can choose to go on additional gorilla treks, take nature walks, visit local communities, or simply relax at your lodge and immerse yourself in the tranquility of the surroundings.
Day 20: Departure
After breakfast, bid farewell to Bwindi National Park and start your journey back to Entebbe International Airport for your departure flight. Reflect on the incredible experiences and memories made during your Uganda-Rwanda tour.
