Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe
Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be greeted by our representative who will transfer you to your hotel in Entebbe. Take some time to relax and acclimatize to the surroundings.
Day 2: Exploring Entebbe
Today, you will embark on a city tour of Entebbe. Visit the Uganda Wildlife Education Centre to learn about the country's diverse wildlife. Explore the Botanical Gardens and enjoy a relaxing boat ride on Lake Victoria. In the evening, return to your hotel for overnight stay.
Day 3: Transfer to Sipi Falls
After breakfast, you will drive to Sipi Falls in eastern Uganda. Enjoy the scenic views of the countryside and the beautiful waterfalls. Upon arrival, check in to your lodge and spend the rest of the day at leisure.
Day 4: Hiking and Cultural Experience in Sipi Falls
Today, embark on a hiking excursion to explore the stunning Sipi Falls. Enjoy the breathtaking views and learn about the local culture and traditions from the nearby communities. Return to your lodge in the evening for overnight stay.
Day 5: Transfer to Pian-Upe Wildlife Reserve
After breakfast, depart for Pian-Upe Wildlife Reserve. This reserve is known for its diverse wildlife, including elephants, giraffes, antelopes, and many bird species. Upon arrival, check in to your accommodation and enjoy an evening game drive.
Day 6: Game Drive and Nature Walk in Pian-Upe WR
Embark on an early morning game drive to spot the wildlife in Pian-Upe Wildlife Reserve. Afterward, take a nature walk to explore the reserve's natural beauty and learn about the indigenous flora and fauna. Overnight stay at your lodge.
Day 7: Transfer to Kidepo Valley National Park
Today, you will drive to Kidepo Valley National Park, one of Uganda's most remote and untouched parks. Enjoy the scenic drive and the opportunity to spot wildlife along the way. Upon arrival, check in to your lodge and relax.
Day 8: Game Drives in Kidepo Valley National Park
Embark on morning and afternoon game drives in Kidepo Valley National Park. This park is known for its diverse wildlife, including lions, elephants, buffalos, giraffes, and various bird species. Enjoy the thrilling experience of spotting these animals in their natural habitat.
Day 9: Visit to Mt Morungole and Karamojong Village
Today, you will visit Mt Morungole, located within Kidepo Valley National Park. Embark on a hike to the top of the mountain and enjoy panoramic views of the park and the surrounding landscape. Later, visit a Karamojong village to learn about their unique culture and way of life. Overnight stay at your lodge.
Day 10: Return to Entebbe
After breakfast, you will drive back to Entebbe. Enjoy the scenic drive and arrive in the evening. Check in to your hotel and relax for the rest of the day.
Day 11-17: Cultural Tour in Entebbe
Over the next seven days, immerse yourself in the local culture of Entebbe. Visit traditional villages, interact with locals, and participate in various cultural activities. Learn traditional dances, try local cuisine, and explore the vibrant markets. This cultural tour will give you a deeper understanding of Uganda's rich heritage.
Day 18: Departure
After breakfast, transfer to Entebbe International Airport for your departure flight. Bid farewell to Uganda with unforgettable memories of your wildlife safari and cultural tour.
