17-Day Rhinos & Chimpanzee Trekking Journey


Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe

Welcome to Uganda! Upon your arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be greeted by our representative who will transfer you to your hotel in Entebbe city. Take the opportunity to relax and prepare for your exciting adventure ahead.

Day 2: Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary

After breakfast, depart for Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, the only place in Uganda where you can see rhinos in the wild. Enjoy a guided trekking experience to spot these magnificent creatures up close. Learn about the conservation efforts to protect them from extinction. After the trek, continue to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3-4: Murchison Falls National Park

Embark on a journey to Murchison Falls National Park, one of the largest and most diverse national parks in Uganda. Enjoy game drives to spot various wildlife species such as elephants, lions, giraffes, and more. Take a boat cruise along the Nile River to witness the mighty Murchison Falls, where the river squeezes through a narrow gorge, creating a spectacular waterfall.

Day 5-6: Kibale National Park

Head to Kibale National Park, known for its population of chimpanzees and other primates. Embark on a thrilling chimpanzee trekking expedition, where you will have the chance to observe these intelligent creatures in their natural habitat. Explore the park's lush forests and encounter other wildlife species along the way.

Day 7-8: Semuliki National Park

Continue your journey to Semuliki National Park, a hidden gem in Uganda. Explore the park's diverse landscapes, including tropical rainforests, hot springs, and savannah grasslands. Take a guided nature walk to discover unique flora and fauna species. Enjoy bird watching as Semuliki is renowned for its rich birdlife.

Day 9-11: Queen Elizabeth National Park

Arrive at Queen Elizabeth National Park, famous for its incredible wildlife and stunning landscapes. Embark on game drives to spot lions, elephants, buffalos, and other wildlife species. Take a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, home to one of the largest concentrations of hippos in Africa. Enjoy the picturesque views of the park's diverse ecosystems.

Day 12-16: Rhino and Chimpanzee Trekking

Embark on a thrilling adventure as you visit various rhino and chimpanzee trekking sites across Uganda. Explore different reserves and national parks known for their conservation efforts and successful rhino and chimpanzee habituation programs. Immerse yourself in the beauty of Uganda's wildlife and learn about the ongoing efforts to protect these endangered species.

Day 17: Departure

After breakfast, bid farewell to Uganda as you transfer back to Entebbe International Airport for your departure flight. Take with you unforgettable memories of your rhino and chimpanzee trekking adventure in the Pearl of Africa.
