Day 1: Arrival at Entebbe International Airport
Welcome to Entebbe International Airport! Upon arrival, you will be greeted by our guide who will assist you with the necessary formalities. A comfortable transfer will be arranged to your accommodation for a relaxing overnight stay.
Day 2: Transfer to Kilimanjaro Airport - Moshi
Today, we will transfer you to Kilimanjaro Airport for your flight to Moshi. After landing, our team will pick you up and transfer you to your hotel in Moshi. Take the day to relax and prepare for the upcoming adventure.
Day 3: Marangu Gate - Machame Camp
After breakfast, we will drive to Marangu Gate, the starting point of the Marangu Route. Here, our experienced guides will provide a briefing and assist with the registration process. Begin your trek through the lush rainforest, reaching Machame Camp for an overnight stay.
Day 4: Machame Camp - Shira Camp
Continue your trek from Machame Camp to Shira Camp. As you ascend, you will notice the landscape changing, with stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro's different ecological zones. Overnight stay at Shira Camp.
Day 5: Shira Camp - Barranco Camp
Today's trek will take you through the rocky landscape of the Lava Tower and down to Barranco Camp. The trail offers breathtaking views of the surrounding glaciers and the vastness of the mountain. Overnight stay at Barranco Camp.
Day 6: Barranco Camp - Karanga Camp
Embark on a challenging yet rewarding trek from Barranco Camp to Karanga Camp. This section involves some steep ascents, but the stunning scenery makes it worthwhile. Enjoy the breathtaking views as you reach Karanga Camp for an overnight stay.
Day 7: Karanga Camp - Barafu Camp
Continue your journey from Karanga Camp to Barafu Camp. This is a shorter trek, allowing you to acclimatize and rest before the final ascent to Uhuru Peak. Overnight stay at Barafu Camp.
Day 8: Barafu Camp - Uhuru Peak - Mweka Camp
Today is the highlight of your trek as you make the final push towards Uhuru Peak, the highest point in Africa. Reach the summit just in time to witness a breathtaking sunrise. Descend to Mweka Camp for a well-deserved rest and overnight stay.
Day 9: Mweka Camp - Mweka Gate - Moshi
After breakfast, descend from Mweka Camp to Mweka Gate, where you will meet our team and receive your summit certificates. Bid farewell to Mount Kilimanjaro and transfer back to your hotel in Moshi for a relaxing evening.
Day 10: Transfer to Kilimanjaro Airport - Mahale
Today, we will transfer you to Kilimanjaro Airport for your flight to Mahale. Upon arrival, you will be greeted by our team and transferred to your accommodation in Mahale. Enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure, surrounded by the beauty of Lake Tanganyika.
Day 11-12: Mahale - Chimpanzee Trekking
Spend the next two days exploring the Mahale Mountains National Park and engaging in chimpanzee trekking activities. Follow experienced guides as they lead you through the dense forests, allowing you to observe and learn about these incredible primates in their natural habitat.
Day 13: Transfer to Selous Game Reserve
After breakfast, we will transfer you to the airstrip for your flight to Selous Game Reserve. Upon arrival, our team will pick you up and transfer you to your accommodation. Settle in and enjoy the tranquility of the reserve.
Day 14-15: Selous Game Reserve - Safari Activities
Immerse yourself in the vast wilderness of Selous Game Reserve. Over the next two days, enjoy game drives, boat safaris, and walking safaris, accompanied by experienced guides who will share their knowledge about the diverse flora and fauna found in this UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Day 16: Transfer to Mikumi National Park
After breakfast, we will transfer you to Mikumi National Park. Upon arrival, check-in to your accommodation and spend the rest of the day at your leisure, soaking in the beauty of the park.
Day 17: Mikumi National Park - Game Drive and Departure
Embark on a thrilling game drive in Mikumi National Park, known for its abundant wildlife and stunning landscapes. Keep an eye out for elephants, lions, giraffes, and a wide variety of bird species. After the game drive, we will transfer you to the airport for your departure flight.
