Day 1: Arrival in Antananarivo
Your 17-day adventure in Madagascar begins in the capital city of Antananarivo. After arriving at the airport, you will be transferred to your hotel. Take the rest of the day to relax and acclimate to the local surroundings.
Day 2-4: Exploring Andasibe-Mantadia National Park
On day 2, you will head east to Andasibe-Mantadia National Park. Spend three days exploring this incredible rainforest reserve, known for its diverse wildlife and unique flora. Day 8: Exploring Toliara
After leaving Isalo National Park, you will continue your journey to Toliara, a coastal city in southwestern Madagascar. Take a leisurely stroll along the beach, explore the local markets, and immerse yourself in the vibrant culture of this coastal town.
Day 9-13: Venture into Ifotaka Forest
From Toliara, you will head inland to Ifotaka Forest. Spend five days exploring this remote and pristine forest, home to several lemur species, including the critically endangered Greater Bamboo Lemur. Engage in guided night walks, bird watching excursions, and learn about the conservation efforts in the area.
Day 14-16: Relaxing in Komba
After your adventure in Ifotaka Forest, you will head back to the coast and travel north to Komba, a secluded island off the coast of Nosy Be. Spend three days relaxing on the pristine beaches, snorkeling in crystal-clear waters, and enjoying the tranquility of this tropical paradise.
Day 17: Departure from Antananarivo
On the final day of your trip, you will return to Antananarivo for your departure. Take some time to explore the city's markets and cultural sites before being transferred to the airport for your onward journey.
