16-Day Camping Namibia Self Drive Safari

Day 1: Arrival at Entebbe International Airport

Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be met by our representative who will assist you with the necessary paperwork and provide you with a detailed briefing on your 16-day camping Namibia self-drive safari. You will then be transferred to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 2: Windhoek

After breakfast, you will collect your rental vehicle and begin your journey to Windhoek, the capital city of Namibia. Explore the city's colonial architecture, visit the National Museum, and indulge in local cuisine. Overnight stay at a campsite near Windhoek.

Day 3-4: Kalahari Region

Head south towards the Kalahari Region, known for its vast red sand dunes and unique wildlife. Explore the Kalahari Desert on game drives, guided walks, and enjoy star-gazing at night. Camp overnight in the Kalahari.

Day 5-6: Fish River Canyon

Continue your journey to the Fish River Canyon, the second largest canyon in the world. Enjoy breathtaking views, hike along the rim, and marvel at the impressive rock formations. Camp overnight near the canyon.

Day 7-8: Aus

Drive to the town of Aus, known for its wild horses roaming freely in the desert. Visit the Garub Pan where you can observe these majestic creatures up close. Explore the nearby ghost town of Kolmanskop, a remnant of Namibia's diamond mining history. Overnight camping near Aus.

Day 9-10: Sossusvlei

Head to Sossusvlei, famous for its towering sand dunes and picturesque landscapes. Explore the dunes on foot or take a guided tour to Deadvlei, a surreal white clay pan surrounded by red sand dunes. Capture stunning photographs and enjoy the mesmerizing scenery. Camp overnight in the Sossusvlei area.

Day 11-12: Swakopmund

Drive towards the coastal town of Swakopmund, known for its German colonial architecture and adventure activities. Enjoy quad biking, sandboarding, or take a boat trip to see seals and dolphins. Explore the town's vibrant markets and indulge in fresh seafood. Overnight stay at a campsite near Swakopmund.

Day 13-14: Damaraland

Head north to Damaraland, a region famous for its unique desert-adapted wildlife such as desert elephants and black rhinos. Explore the Twyfelfontein rock engravings, visit the Petrified Forest, and marvel at the impressive geological formations. Camp overnight in Damaraland.

Day 15-16: Etosha National Park

Make your way to Etosha National Park, one of Africa's premier wildlife destinations. Enjoy game drives and spot elephants, lions, giraffes, and many more animals in their natural habitat. Overnight stays at campsites within the park.

On the last day, drive back to Windhoek and return your rental vehicle. You will be transferred to the airport for your departure flight. This concludes your 16-day camping Namibia self-drive safari.
