Day 1: Arrival in Addis Ababa
Upon arrival at Bole International Airport, you will be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel in Addis Ababa. After check-in, you will have the rest of the day to relax and explore the city at your own pace.
Day 2: Addis Ababa – Jimma
After breakfast, you will drive to Jimma, a city located in the southwestern part of Ethiopia. On the way, you will visit the Abijatta-Shalla National Park, a protected area known for its beautiful lakes and diverse birdlife. You will also stop at the Woliso market, one of the largest markets in the region. Overnight in Jimma.
Day 3: Jimma – Mizan
After breakfast, you will drive to Mizan, a small town located near the border with South Sudan. On the way, you will visit the Sheka Forest, a beautiful and lush forest known for its endemic wildlife and bird species. Overnight in Mizan.
Day 4: Mizan – Kibish
After breakfast, you will drive to Kibish, a remote village located in the heart of the South Omo Valley. On the way, you will visit several tribal villages, including the Dizi and the Tishena tribes. Overnight camping in Kibish.
Day 5: Kibish – Omo National Park
After breakfast, you will drive to the Omo National Park, a protected area known for its diverse wildlife and bird species. On the way, you will visit several tribal villages, including the Surma and the Mursi tribes. Overnight camping in the Omo National Park.
Day 6-7: Omo National Park
You will spend the next two days exploring the Omo National Park, taking part in game drives and nature walks. The park is home to a variety of wildlife, including elephants, lions, leopards, and buffalo. You will also have the opportunity to visit several tribal villages, including the Kara and the Hamar tribes. Overnight camping in the Omo National Park.
Day 8: Omo National Park – Turmi
After breakfast, you will drive to Turmi, a small town located in the heart of the South Omo Valley. On the way, you will visit several tribal villages, including the Dassanech and the Arbore tribes. Overnight in Turmi.
Day 9: Turmi – Jinka
After breakfast, you will drive to Jinka, a small town located in the heart of the South Omo Valley. On the way, you will visit several tribal villages, including the Konso and the Benna tribes. Overnight in Jinka.
Day 10: Jinka – Mago National Park
After breakfast, you will drive to the Mago National Park, a protected area known for its diverse wildlife and bird species. On the way, you will visit several tribal villages, including the Mursi and the Nyangatom tribes. Overnight camping in the Mago National Park.
Day 11-12: Mago National Park
You will spend the next two days exploring the Mago National Park, taking part in game drives and nature walks. The park is home to a variety of wildlife, including elephants, lions, leopards, and buffalo. You will also have the opportunity to visit several tribal villages, including the Bume and the Bodi tribes. Overnight camping in the Mago National Park.
Day 13: Mago National Park – Konso
After breakfast, you will drive to Konso, a small town located in the southwestern part of Ethiopia. On the way, you will visit several tribal villages, including the Tsemay and the Erbore tribes. Overnight in Konso.
Day 14: Konso – Addis Ababa (Departure)
After breakfast, you will drive back to Addis Ababa. Depending on your flight schedule, you may have some time to explore the city before transferring to the airport for your departure flight.
